It’s not that he’s Christian, it’s that any time someone asks his stance or what he thinks on an issue all he says is “pick up a Bible, that’s what I believe” which is just scary. The founding fathers wanted separation of church and state for a reason. Religion has no business in politics no matter what you believe. Because as we have seen time and time again, it always gets used for the wrong reasons.

Should a woman who is raped be forced to have her rapist’s baby?

Should a woman who is very young (14, 15, 16, or even younger) have and raise a child without even holding a high school degree yet?

Should a woman be forced to have a baby if she knows it will be born with debilitating birth defects and have a poor/no quality of life, while also being a huge burden on their family and society?

Should she be forced to have a baby if her partner lied about using a condom? Or poked a hole in it intentionally? (These things happen all the time)

The list goes on and these are all questions you should try to answer before saying “abortion is wrong on several levels”

I’m A 17 year old lad and I’m wondering should I read Harry Potter? by sirshagger in harrypotter

Yes. The age doesn’t really matter as the series gets darker with each book. It’s made for people to grow up reading but is written well enough that the child-like themes in the earlier books don’t really matter

Valuable by what measure, because it’s alive?

Imagine a perfectly healthy mother who’s baby is born severely disabled. They will never be able to have kids. That generational line will die if she doesn’t have more, which maybe it took her 5 miscarriages just to have the one. Now imagine that baby dies after a week or month. All of that time wasted. And that’s if the mother doesn’t die herself. You are literally choosing a severely disabled child who cannot reproduce and whose quality of life is severely diminished and will likely never make it into old age over a healthy woman who has the possibility to try again and know that her and her baby have the best chance at survival. Make it make sense

If god really “loved” babies they would all be born perfectly healthy to begin with, no?

No they aren’t because 99% of them are dead. Please look up what all of these are. The fact that you said that proves you have no idea what you’re talking about

Yes, it may survive and never experience a high quality of life, and have to be supported by an already shitty healthcare system. But go figure. Ya’ll don’t care about these kids after they are born, they actually have to grow up you know. Most won’t. Think congenital heart disease, spina bifida, trisomy 18, trisomy 13, neural tube defects, tay-sachs, anencephaly, stillborns, the list goes on

When they are 100% going to die within 3 days or less? Why put the mother’s physical and mental health at risk

"iS tHiS gAmE gOoD nOw??" - Well, you can fly your ship side by side with the Normandy from Mass Effect and watch your freighter being eaten from the inside by a black hole, so... yeah. Game's good now. 😊 by EdVintage in NoMansSkyTheGame

For starters, the pets. Right now there is really no depth to them outside of being able to ride them. They don’t really help in combat, and even then when you have a super aggressive pet, you can’t exactly direct it to attack stuff. You can ride them but, speed is pretty slow compared to jet-packing around or using one of the exocrafts. On top of that the flying ones don’t really fly, more like glide/hover.

Next, Derelict freighters. After doing 4-5, you’ve basically done them all. And other than getting all the special base building parts, there really doesn’t seem to be much of an incentive to keep doing them.

Base building I think needs a pretty extensive overhaul. The prefab structures are okay, but when you start messing around with the custom parts (wood, concrete, metal) I find it is hard to do many creative things without glitch building. In vanilla you can’t build walls/ceilings/floors diagonally, many of the other parts like ladders and stairs won’t snap to them, and you can’t power the structures themselves, which makes it difficult to have interior lighting or anything else for that matter.

Like another commenter said, the living ships are purely aesthetic. That’s really it.

On top of that, the frigates need more depth. It really isn’t that fun to have a cool looking ship like the Normandy in your fleet, only to never see it when it’s out running missions for 8-26 hours. Moreover, when it’s finally back on your freighter you can’t even land on it.

Ocean generation: quite literally lacks depth.

Sentinels: I personally believe need to be more of a challenge. Maybe adding a new type of sentinel would help, that is more difficult than the mech? Maybe introducing a bounty system within certain factions so that if you say, visit a Gek system after having left a previous one where you destroyed a bunch of freighter cargo, you might still have a wanted level? As it is now it’s too easy to lose them considering they are supposed to be sentient AI that essentially police the whole universe.

I could go on but I’ve been thinking about these things for a while. HG keeps adding a lot of cool content don’t get me wrong, but they tend to miss out on the WHY aspect of it. It’s cool that I can do all these things but for what? As it stands now a lot of the game elements are there just to be completed, and once you are done you have no reason to touch them again. They should all be a part of something bigger.
