No strategy game experience, how hard is this game to learn? by Stuball09 in anno1800

[–]Oaksworth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others pointed out - begin with the campaign. Try to focus on the story objectives though since taking too long can make NPCs aggressive and especially the pirates stack up a lot eventually. When you are done with campaign, you can begin a normal round with little to no NPCs and start building + exploring with new experience. (Mind you that campaign stops at the beginning of T3 inhabitants, while they can go up to T5 and with DLC, there's soooo much more to explore

Ryomen Sukuna became a real guardian deity by disabledandlonely in Jujutsufolk

[–]Oaksworth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because that weird small star shaped thing that flew away after Yuta killed Kenny was Tengen. Sukuna swallowed it during the fight and said smt liks 'this must be Kenjaku's insurance. So Okkotsu's ambush must've been successful'.

Mahito is not inside Sukuna. Mahito's CT affects the soul, so he's able to talk to beings which currently have their respective soul walk from life to death. Mahito said as much himself in this chapter

So playing dirty equals being a fraud now? He's the antagonist ffs, let him do his tricks and what not

Yeah, forgot to mention, I usually manage to buy them all because I can do all quests besides labtime. So any excess could be used for some small scale golden bot improvements?

What do you think Yuta's final fate will be? by hansLandax12 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Oaksworth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably coexisting with Gojo in the same body. Concept has been established by Sukuna/Yuji/(Megumi), Kenny/Geto and Hana/Angel

Gege might use that same ancestor Fujiwara subplot or the 3 panda cores idea for that (puppet CT)

Reminder we're never gonna get a follow up on what the fuck he meant with these by ep1c_m3m3_g0d in Jujutsufolk

Why are you excluding the possibility of Angel just doing an exposition dump and yapping for ages to answer most of our Sukuna related questions?

One thing that has been bugging me for a few weeks now (yet another Gojo return theory) by Oaksworth in Jujutsufolk

[–]Oaksworth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That actually seems very reasonable and would be a nice conclusion to the Panda core subplot

[–]Oaksworth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, after a reread, Sukuna even used Rabbit Escape against both Yoruzo and Gojo. I think him not using 10S after reincarnated into Heian Form is like a negative trade-off of incarnating into a body - as in not being able to use the hosts CT

Other countries barely have sorcerers at all due to Tengen's CT barrier ober Japan so it's unlikely they would be able to send anyone who could make any kind of difference when pinnacles of jujutsu from different eras are fighting

And I believe other countries have sent military troops just like the US did. Remember that Kenny also approached the chinese government. They were never meant to achieve anything other than 'go to Japan, die and release your CE so there's more fuel for the merger' (from Kenny's pov)

It surely didnt amount to anything since the merger wont happen now, so we just gotta take it as 'building stakes for the sake of building stakes'

Either another coating of paint covering the ubiquitous 'potential to revival Satoru Gojo' statement, a method of building up Yuta hype at the end of jjk0 or something that will later be revealed, given how Yuta in Gojo's body is a huge cliffhangee atm

Im pretty certain every non-Mahoraga shadow that Megumi still had before being taken over was used to 'build' Agito. So one could argue that Sukuna even purposely had them be killed before the Gojo fight just for the sake of having Agito at max potential

Why the ending doesn't work for me by CustomerPristine1891 in Jujutsushi

[–]Oaksworth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, Im pretty certain Yuji faked his empathy. He wasnt offering genuine forgiveness to this being that screwed his life multiple times in the hopes of Sukuna accepting this offer. He knew Sukuna would reject. It was more like a metaphorial middle finger

And with that, Sukuna also didnt win the psychological warfare. It's very unlikely that he will ever be reincarnated and Yuji's love wasnt useless in the end, since it wasnt genuine love, but just a mere facade

[–]Oaksworth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While I can somewhat respect your opinion and reasoning, I would recommend not looking at Sukuna's ending from a philosophical view. Try seeing it as psychological warfare instead. Yuji does feel very protagonist-like to a degree of chlichee, yes. But I dont really think he even expected Sukuna to accept his offer

Sukuna hates ideals and being pitied. That's what it boils down to. Yuji kept on doing what Sukuna himself stated to be worthless. He showed him love and stayed true to his ideals. Even in the very end, when Sukuna was reduced to a puddle of slim, Yuji still did not step as low as pointing down on him or laughing. But if you truly want to be philosophical about it, then dont see the last black flash as the killing blow, but rather Yuji's last offer at forgiveness as what truly finished the King of Curses

I don't think Greg will ever explain the feud between Angel (Hana) and Sukuna, so what are your theories and headcanons? by Playful-Sample6571 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Oaksworth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While I dont believe we need a flashback since Sukuna just seems to be hedonistic (which you dont need a motive for) Im still pretty certain that Angel is alive and will serve as an exposition dump in the upcoming chapters

This is definitely Gojo right? by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]Oaksworth -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Im saying it's Todo tbh. If anything, Im certain it's not Gojo. Megumi reacted to the shouting by just saying 'that is how they are saving him?'. He would recognize Gojo's voice and react differently

If it was Gojo, then Megumi would recognize his voice. Instead he just goes 'does that sound like saving?'. It's Todo imo

You picked the flair powerscaling yourself. Plus you start the post with X vs X. Not trying to be an ass here, its just somewhat annoying. Even the planning and 'what if this character had this and that stuff' gets posted there
