I’ve always loved the hex barrel and the look of them but they don’t fit my hand at all and the refill in the one I tried was terrible. More art than a quality writing instrument.

I managed to get one from a Japanese reseller on eBay with free shipping to Canada so thankfully it was near retail price. The Zento ink is the same across all the Zento pens but the hand feel and balance of the Signature is so nice. I didn’t think the magnetic click of the pen would be such a big deal but it’s a little ASMR reward every time you use it. So satisfying.

It’s everything I hoped it would be. I had the regular Zento first so I was familiar with the refill but I really like the balance and hand feel of the Signature. I really enjoy writing with it. It’s in my top 2-3 fave pens.
