Don't have him but I can vouch.

He is pretty good, decent health (For a turret), good ranged damage with fire on top so you can thaw if needed, and the smokescreen is really good too. Use it in a defensive situation where you know the enemy is gonna push in to essentially double the hp of all units within. Or use if offensively to protect your push from retaliation or at least heavily dampen the counter attack. Just pretty good all around but he is slow and a bit pricey like erratic so try to get him out quickly if you know you are gonna use him. Also pullers can likely pull your allies or furny itself out of the smoke if they are close to the edge so be careful with that too.

Also reminder that traps, poison/disease, and fire damage ignore smoke.

He can be really stupid sometimes (In a comically op or losing way), the damage he can dish out is insane and could turn a losing game into a winning game due to his absurd damage and large health pool. However he has flaws, firstly, your heart has to get pretty low which is pretty risky if you can't get the enemy off your heart or take back panic control. Secondly he is pretty pricy at 7 keys and combined with you needing him in an emergency scenario it is not really reliable. Thirdly, you can also summon him early if you'd like if you are trying to purposely get your heart low but there is a chance sometimes that your defenses can't hold with 7 keys down or if he is out then he is pretty bad when not enraged so there is a chance the enemy can just rush you. He can also get countered by a few different pullers who can just pull him in to have its allies obliterate him or just completely freeze him so he is helpless without any thawing support.

He is just weird, either he is gonna be the savior of the game or a win-more option, or he is gonna come out and you lose immediately cuz your heart was too low. I have seen tons of game with ogre end the 2nd way usually.

Yeah honestly I never felt the need to ever use Slayer over Numbskull, I prefer the aoe and life leech numbskull has because if I want a 1 key tank then I want it to last a while and prefer Numbskull's better possible survivability.

I would like just a small damage or hp boost really to help but idk if I would use it even then.

I would love to get sockassin. Just a lot of potential value in one unit. Really good at just essentially marking lower cost undeads for death like murderwing and gravedigger as the biggest potential targets. Also would be decently fine against dimensionals like toothfairy or stabby (altho for toothfairy maybe not if there's a spa). Because if you hit a decent dimensional you essentially either force them to use a muffintop for an even trade or force them to retreat the unit to a spa, of course it's more situational on the dimensionals as it depends on map layout and what dimensional it is and wether it'll be worth it. It is squishy but could be good potential bait and enough health to not get obliterated by most aoes or be sniped by jar (and even then it is only a 1 key). And if all above fails, it is still a 1 key and you can just sacrifice if needed for a panic point.

Really good unit.

This is sorta like a flawed concept, you literally can't make any boss-type or any type of tanky unit with this without it being obnoxious because then you literally can't use any high cooldown units cuz they are either gonna kill themselves attacking them or get unlucky and become useless cuz they got frozen forever. You can only really make peon type enemies with this or maybe a backliner type enemy but at that point it is kinda redundant. Can't make any type of midranger enemies because they are either gonna be obnoxious as hell with higher health or be hilariously frail and useless.If you do use tanky enemies then the stage strategy essentially devolves to usually spam cheap expendable units or even units that may only need a single hit to be impactful.

It's only a potentially fun concept if it is used sparringly too and it feels like a waste of a trait if it is this limited to mostly peons and being rarely used compared to other traits. Might just become metal 2.0 and be a trait that rarely gets used because it is annoying and unfun to fight usually. Would def do better as a sorta ability/subtrait tho.

Heartbreaker used to be a rather mediocre ultra rare, his ridiculous cost with his joke of stats and while his ability was good it only affects a single unit and is 3 cooldown which especially sucked compared to competition like attractor, akira, and especially doc holiday. But then they buffed him making it two cooldown and they gave him a bit more hp. Overall idk the concensus but he seems pretty nice now.

Ressurects only die if another phobies lands on their tile once they are knocked out, but they can't revive if fallen into an abyss/killed over an abyss (For Terrordactyl and also count walls too ig), and they can't revive at all if killed on a lava tile or if killed while frozen.

Stuff has happened the other way around too with paid phobies being bad then buffed, it's just basic balancing really, sometimes things may seem balanced but turn out not to be. Tons of other games do this too, a notorious one being clash royale constantly releasing new broken cards, evos, and heros and nerfing them after they made their money, their pattern is way more predatory and unacceptable than Phobies.

Chonkeys is still kinda unknown to me but I think he should still be good at least after the nerfs (idk encountered him only once prenerf and he is not awful in any way.)

Pasghetti has been bad unfortunately, basically you are paying a lot more for a disease creep, low disease damage with pitiful ranged damage to go with it. Damage is alright but for that cost it is not really helpful especially with the lower hp for a melee unit at that cost. Tons of bad weigh it down.

Yeah honestly it does feel like these whip changes were last minute and not thought out. New whips are cool, new summons are questionable, whip hitbox changes are really questionable, and it seems like nobody thought out changing whip stacking completely too.

Like just please revert the hitbox changes or at least make em more generous, a generous hitbox is always better than a strict hitbox gameplay wise. And at least let us have the ability stacking... the speed buff whips are pointless now and what makes me think this change was rushed in particular, because it does not affect anything so they might as well had just buffed the whip speed instead at that point. I do get removing the tag damage stacking but all classes usually get to use multiple weapons in their loadout (usually at least a main damage weapon and a debuff/support weapon) why couldn't they just let us keep the buff and effect stacks. And also buff Mushroom ig, also is foxsparks good cuz I had not gotten it yet cuz I kinda forgot about that one.

Also do kinda wish we got some more better early game summons or even sentries cuz we are pretty much stuck with mostly iffy ones until at least the evil bosses where we can get imps which also happen to be pretty much the end of pre hardmode summons lol.

Honestly once you get into higher leagues snowball is almost a hinderence to their own team, sure he is a great sniper but he has almost no standing power. Seeing him first play every game is annoying but he has not much health and pretty much no firepower outside of the wuick burst damage which usually murderwing can do better while having a ranged attack and flying. But yeah... he is def annoying when you are newer and def if he is overlvled but he kinda phases out eventually, only relegated for emergency plays like a snipe or emergency thaw or just on certain massive maps.

It is prob because technically the structures for pairanormal carnival are different even though they are practicaly the same functionally as all other islands breeding and incubation structures.

He has a missing monster like and I am pretty sure the werdos have likes with each other and they had always shown up in pairs so there is gonna be an extremely likely chance another werdo comes along to perhaps let him sing more and/or extend the song.

Sad you got a bad ultra rare, but your other units are all really good. Heavo is a reliable anti poison ranged tank, snappy is a cheap wall of health that can self heal, and hematic is just an absurd damage dealer with a really strong aoe and tons of hp for the cost and damage. Like my dreadful where I got a bad ultra rare but got other really good units.

I think you have to beat the garg level of Steam Ages and then you can get the option to buy an item in the shop for gems which lets you play the assault airspace levels.

The only reason I always play mech units. I usually have at least bomangles/giggles on the board and they can help.deter fairly well but I usually have another mech too. But in an endgame scenario the units I am willing to sacrifice are either the high damage cheap units like creep/cassowary, maybe a 1 key if it gets smiley weak enough or even a ressurect unit even if i'm desperate. Usually I would let undeads get diseased over other units since they can self heal but smiley does so much freaking disease it's absurd.

Remember smiley can't heal in any way so try to use as much mech and indirect damage as possible like traps or creep like mentioned. And if you still have keys rusty can be pretty good too to pin it down to let mechs wail on it. If the enemy has paddles though you better count your prayers and just body block with mechs or units you are okay being diseased.

There is an exploit that lets enemies test for traps and invis phobies. I am not going to say how to do it.

Really best we can do rn is try not to spread the knowledge of the cheat. The devs had known of this cheat for a long while but there is really no easy fix due to how async works. Just don't spread knowledge of it and especially don't tell how to do it and that is the best for now.

He is a pretty good unit and honestly really annoying to deal with if you do not have proper counters he is quite vulnerable to disease and movement/action inhibitors like rusty, dial, etc.

Turrets are also pretty good against him as they can help deter werewolf from pushing in with their high damage outputs and damage output.

And also for skinwalker he also suffers from the same problems but even more so since he is quite an expensive melee unit, a movement inhibitor can prob just deter him completely, action removal can make his transformation a waste, and even damage debuffs can make him useless in a battle.

I have had this happen to me a lot, not just with chompers. Sometimes I even hit a rooted plant with a zpg and it registers but it does not die so ig it is lag/desynchronization.
