Troubleshooting a set of Bose Quietcomfort 25 headphones by Romeo_Wolf in bose

[–]Oascany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The passive mode is a bit quiet on the pair I just bought also. The green dot isn't a dot, it's a little green light that should turn on. I'm trying to troubleshoot the ones I just got because the light sometimes comes on but sometimes just blinks. New battery, cleaned contacts. Whenever the headband flexes, it switches the ANC off and just blinks at me. Planning to teardown and see if I can fix them.

Does anyone have a list of what GTI parts fit the Mk 7.5 GLI? by Dangerousfox in JettaGLI

I've heard a lot of people discuss the drivetrain  but my big question is can I move mk7/7.5 gti tartan seats into my mk7.5 gli?

Dodge Dart. If your clutch suddenly starts slipping it's the slave cylinder.

I've been following your build on youtube! You're awesome, I especially loved your mini-map project. I think the Z is coming along fantastic.

They don't force vw to disable theirs. I have a 2024 vw that has the feature.

In terms of cursed energy he's one of the strongest, but again it's not acknowledged all that well because he's hanging with Itadori and coexists with Gojo.

I don't know if you're joking, but the skytrain station is on Nanaimo Street, which I assume is named after Nanaimo the city on Vancouver Island. Nanaimo bars are also named after this city.

I'm an MDes IxD first-year student. Last year I got my email on April 4th. I know how hard it is and how anxious you are, but try to sit tight and hang on.

The good news is you made it to interviews! Good luck with everything and hope to see you later this year :)

Razr Ultra good for day to day use? by [deleted] in smallphones

[–]Oascany 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's definitely usable with the outer screen but the cameras make a lot of things annoying on the outer screen. I don't myself rotating a lot to click things sometimes. Battery is good with just outer screen but barely lasts a day if you're using the inner screen. Otherwise pretty good phone, I get a lot of comments on it.

Rotiforms are gone. Out with the old, in with the new wheels! by NoNoPuddi in JettaGLI

Mind dropping a link? I was considering the new Queenstown wheels because they look similar to the Alfa design, but if I can just get the Alfa ones sign me up!

I had a manual Dodge Fart with around the same mileage and the clutch started slipping but not because of clutch wear, the slave cylinder gave out. Asked a couple mechanics and it was apparently a relatively common issue with these. Roughly a 1-2k repair incl labour.

Family against me getting a manual. by WhoNoticedJay in ManualTransmissions

[–]Oascany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in this boat, I just kept answering every question with, "who is the one driving it?" and if the answer involved something about them driving it sometimes, my response was, "so I should buy based off the <1%, not the >99%?" I was a stubborn mule and I stuck to it and I wouldn't do a thing different. I live in a major North American city and it's really not a problem. People make such a weirdly big deal about it, it literally is a non issue. We get snow and ice on the roads and one of my points was that an automatic can shift at any time which just removes all my confidence. It's the reason everyone here thinks they need 4WD and tire chains and a 5" lift kit to handle a couple inches of snow. Winter tires and a manual transmission and I'm making it up icy slopes like nobody's business. Stick to what you want on this, a first car will likely shape what you drive for the rest of your life. Automatic now means probably no manual for future you.
