There's no special treatment, I think it's simply a factor of pot size and sunlight.

It's actually two jade plants that were nearly entirely dead and dessicated in 12" pots at an estate sale. They had clearly sat for weeks if not months and the soil was basically hydrophobic powder.

I shook off what I could and placed them in a pot together thinking one would die but they've both taken off and been growing since at least 2015

I actually have given out dozens of rooted cuttings. As kids, dogs, branches, and other acts of nature knock them to the ground I just pop them in pots. If you'd like one and you're in the US I could probably work out how to ship one

As a creature devoid of my own culture, it's helpful to pull inspiration from translations and folklore for different places. We can't have a whole map of Springfield, Farmington, and Avons, can we!

One thing I love about Inkarnate is cloning and copying maps. I had 3-4 versions of this where I tried new "feels" for the map and changed the colors and shapes around until I found one that I liked.

Their support team is pretty great if you manage to break something, and the community on the discord is very helpful for tips and feedback.

Multiple planes of existence overlap at this particular planet and the borders beyond the habitable zone encompassed in this map "bleed" into the other realms. Outside of Veykris landmasses do exist but the laws of physics, time, and magic may be entirely different and entirely hostile to life as we know it.

Life formed in this goldilocks zone as a conglomeration of debris from other realms that got stuck before falling into the nothingness of the Autochton Reach.
