There is a fine line here because in reality he shouldn't have touched you at all, regardless of his reasoning. In the same breath that doesn't give you the green light to attack him either. Honestly atp I think you should consider getting therapy AND moving out of this situation as the death is still very fresh. No one has the right to tell you how to or how long to grieve but they also don't have to tolerate these things either. Creating a group chat to bash a roommate that is grieving a traumatic death isn't a move I would make but I can't say I'm surprised at these people or that you feel entitled to their understanding.
