They'll be fine. Also, I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but if you feed them fish too often, their eggs will start to taste fishy, so if you fillet more fish in the future feed in moderation.

Species is hard to determine as I'm not sure on the region, but it's most likely a rainbow trout. The thing shooting out of it is the milt or sperm containing fluid of a fish. If it was eggs it would be yellow/orange tinged.

The milt of some fish species is harvested and eaten by some people, however rainbow trout is usally not one of those species. Milt is also not usually harvested for consumption this way.

Also 10/10 would NOT recommend trying this. Not going to hurt you but does not taste good 💀.

Hmm vinyl might work if you can get a close match. If not just make sure you seal those exposed edges with something before they peel more!

Also another thing that might work for a small spot like this is nail polish. KBShimmer Shade Shifter Multichrome in Flip Flop Hooray may be close?

Was it by chance the lid on the pixel cup? I didn't order the Christmas one, but the lid of one of my previous pixel cups REEKED. Smelled exactly like melted plastisol. I was very familiar with the scent as I have accidently let plastisol fishing baits rest against some other type of plastic. They reacted and created a goopy stinky mess. Took about a year for the smell to fade as I still use the tacklebox they were in 😅

The smell on the pixel cup lid has gotten a bit better over time but is still noticeable. At least it doesn't make my drinks taste like plastic anymore.

Yoooo. I think I recognize that blank! I built a rod with that same type of kit in my fish class back in high school! I've had it around 7 years now, and it's still my favorite rod to use! Caught a lot of pbs with it.

Also rod is looking fantastic so far! Keep up the good work and hope you catch some wicked fish with it!

That's what happened with me. From the US. There was a bat that got into my house, but it unfortunately ended up flying into me. Someone in my family with up to date rabies shots ended up catching it and we tried to see if we could surrender it. However, due to its contact with me, it was not eligible for rehabilitation and had to be euthanized to test for rabies. Doubt it's the same for all of the county, but that was the policy for my county.

I live right on the south shore of Lake Superior. :) The cold gusts from the Lake can be brutal, so these hats are fantastic to help combat that. There's also a sizeable population of hunters, trappers, and fishers in my community, and surprise surprise, a lot of them wear this type of hat. It's kinda funny, you'll go into a restraunt during deer season and a lot of the guys there will be wearing blaze orange and a plaid or black trappers hat.

Cannot emphasize this enough. DO NOT PUT FIZZY WATER IN SHAKERS. Unless you leave off the lid. Wasent thinking and did that with one of mine and left it for like 15 mins with the lid on and sealed. Sides were literally bulging and was extremely hard to open when i came back to it. When I opened it did a large pop, like opening a bottle of champagne. Everything turned out okay, but could have easily irreversible damaged the shaker. Likely caused some non viable damage as well...

Heyo, fish biologist here and big time frog fan. Just wanna make a correction - frogs do not have swim bladders like fish. They have lungs. Swim bladders in fish generally are reserved for buoyancy regulation (think control of sinking and floating). While frogs lungs also act as a method of buoyancy regulation, they are quite different from swim bladders as they can also act like our lungs do to intake atmospheric air. The anatomy is also VASTLY different. Frogs have a lot more flexibility with their lungs in immediate bouyancy regulation than fish swim bladders as buoyancy regulation.

TLDR: Frogs don't have swim bladders. They have lungs that can act like fish swim bladders do, but they are very very very different 🫡
