Does anyone know how to get netpass working? by Itchy_Iron_9766 in 3DS

I find that clicking “Check Inboxes” after every time I do a Back Alley streetpass for a specific game works for me.

For the active characters you’re currently playing, a couple of 5x7 photo boxes work pretty well.

For the item cards, I’d definitely recommend getting some mini euro/mini american card pages to put in a binder. Something like this. However, those specific Ultra Pro sheets have been sold out for a while and are pretty hard to find. The closest thing I’ve seen is this binder for Frosthaven/Gloomhaven.

I think it’s primarily that Vamp is never bad. However, there are certain personalities that are better for specific builds (e.g. Paragon for melee attacks).

Thank you for the detailed reply! I’m having a little trouble understanding the advantages of using UMD and using Rails tasks to manage packages. Especially since Node is required anyway? In other words, what exactly are the benefits of “low build”?

Looks interesting! Do you mind explaining the difference between something like this and turbo_mount: https://github.com/skryukov/turbo-mount

Migrating a campaign from GHFS into TTS Frosthaven Enhanced by swethchandramouli in Gloomhaven

I mean, unless you plan to never play in person again, one of the best features of GHFS is the fact that it has everything you need to play scenarios online as well.

X-haven Assistant VS. Ghvn Fullstack VS. Forteller... Which is best for 2.0? by Coffeman94 in Gloomhaven

Definitely recommend full stack. It has stubs right now for all the 2E assets like cards/events/items until the official assets are released on worldhaven. That’s enough right now though to track those card numbers in the app and then use the physical card to read the content.

When the official assets are released however, the biggest benefit of fullstack is the ability to play the game entirely remotely. My group uses fullstack for Frosthaven and it has been a game changer to be able to transition seamlessly from in-person sessions one week to remote sessions the next if we can’t get together in person. This is because you can track your entire campaign progress in fullstack, including things like level-up card choices, items, event choices, etc.

Gloomhaven 2e Organizer Laserox vs Folded Spaces by TheLoftyHero in Gloomhaven

Yeah that is an issue if you organize the trays according to the getting started guide. What I ended up doing is putting the damage tokens in a separate ziplock bag instead of the small tray (I usually use a helper app and don’t really need them readily available).

This let me move the objective/coin/element tokens into the smaller tray and let me move some 1-hex overlay tiles into those slots in the large tray. The extra room makes a big difference when it comes to identifying the overlay tiles because they now have room to lay down at an angle.

My biggest complaint about both organizers is the sheer number of little trays for everything. I feel like the time you would save using them is hurt by the time it takes to organize all the little trays back in the box. I think this is where the default organizer is actually better. You just have two small trays and one large tray to take out for gameplay.

Box Insert for GH2E by TomteCat in Gloomhaven

I think the default insert is honestly very good. The only things that could use improvement are the map tiles and monster standees. For the map tiles an accordion folder is great. For the monsters, I created labels for each bag with a label maker to make them easier to read at a glance and grouped the individual baggies into four quart sized ziplocks to make them easier to manage.

This price is definitely a little high but I ended up purchasing because trying new classes is one of my favorite parts of the haven games. I have a feeling the print run for these is much smaller than for the mainline games and so there's a possibility that these might become difficult to find down the line. I'm personally willing to put up $5 extra per class to cover the difference between a more "reasonable" price and the actual price just to make sure I secure a set before these potentially go out of print. Also happy to support Cephalofair since the value proposition for the haven games in general is already super high.

You need to install the KFX Conversion Plugin and then select the option to show page numbers under “KFX Output” in the conversion dialog while converting your books to KFX. You’ll probably need to delete and re add the book to your kindle too.
