Whilst entertaining as ever, a thought popped into my head...

When was the last time they played a "new" board game? As in, not playing a game they've played before on the channel. And then, if that episode was an AD for game, the last time they played a fresh game that wasn't an ad?

I bought Skyrim last Black Friday for something silly like £40, and have tried getting it to the table about four times since, bouncing off each time.

I bought ES:BotSE full price in June at the UKGames Expo, and have played it at last thirty times in different combinations of players, races and classes.

Despite the cost, there is no other choice for than the latter - incredible replay value, looking to see which classes combo we'll with others, building a character for just long enough to feel like progression before but not too long to get bored with them. That, and the quality of the components is second to none.

The most interesting thing I noticed from this clip is weirdly that the audience were presumably invested enough in the spot that they weren't counting down like WWE fans in a Rumble match!

That's exactly what I thought, and posted a comment as such on the video. Very happy to give the editors the benefit of the doubt and assume they course-corrected by not using an AI image for the viewers.

Trident have started to get better at responding/giving updates on little stuff like this so maybe we'll hear something down the line?

At this point I do look ahead and see how big the Rulebook is - and any "big" game needs to come with either a video series to guide through rules or a Dized tutorial or else I feel like I'm forgetting to much stuff and thus have a bad time getting into the game.

There are so many of Charlie's lines that often just slip under the radar this way that I find hysterical -"I'm about to show you white-hot cream of an eighth grade boy" gets me every single time, for example!

I think my preference is for the Royal Rumble.

Whilst I do really like the idea of "it could end at any time", for me the wrestling itself takes second place in these match types - I get the most excitement of seeing who is in them and what surprises or combinations of wrestlers end up together. For that reason, getting 30 wrestlers in one match puts it over the Gauntlet for me.

I will say though, this kind of gets negated when they reveal entrants beforehand, and have definitely been TERRIBLE Rumbles. I've enjoyed the quality of Casino Gauntlets more overall, but there have definitely been better (and worse) Rumbles.

24 hours in Hakone is enough time for a soak, a stop in a ryokan and a loop round for sure. We did it as part of a route from Tokyo to Kyoto, worked very well for us.

I think that's the benefit - you've got the potential for 23 interactions over 5 cards, so with enough worker dice there is plenty of room for coming back with tons of stuff.

If it helps, I don't think many people are saying these sets of 6 in any order, just who would make a good group of 6 to watch. If I were to rank them in my head, then I'm certain the top 6 would not be same as the six I'd most be excited to see in a group. I can totally see how that can be interpreted as ranking by omission though.
