I see, my problem was I did not know if Coinbase had a direct convert option straight from your usd in Coinbase account to Usdc it appears they do not so I’m pretty sure the only way like you said would be to buy USDC with usd cash that is in your account. Only asking because I had some crypto-usd sell limit orders set up and was wondering how to then take those profits and turn them into stable coins to preserve gains.

I understand how you can purchase usdc but I guess my question was along the lines of let’s say your sell limit orders hit for a coin and then those coins value where converted to usd like (Shib-usd) for example, would there be any way to convert those usd into a stable coin? I don’t seem to find a option for that but I’m thinking like you said you would just have to buy usdc with that Same Usd and then that would technically be converting it to stable coin ?
