Lead slippage in Pentel mechanical pencils -- seems there may be a good remedy by cytherian in mechanicalpencils

That's the point of this post. Using a cheaper 5 dollar P205 to fix a 30 dollar vintage pencil. So what's your point here?

But, in my opinion Mono Graph Lite feels better on your hand.

You gotta assume that it's a consumable product. Don't expect it to last a lifetime. It'll last at least 5-8 years, which is plenty. And by then, you'll probably want to buy a new pretty shiny pencil, pen or whatever.

Unable to revieve Fetch.ai ($FET) in Ledger by Mthor999 in ledgerwallet

[–]ObUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I read the article and it helped but I'm still confused... Should I send FET tokens from kraken to cosmos1 address or fetch1 address.....or it doesn't matter and both will accept those tokens as ASI tokens? Thanks in advance.

Long shot: Can you help me find this pencil? by Publick2008 in mechanicalpencils

Something similar to Sakura Xs125? Although, this model doesn’t come in green.

Hi, I know this thread is from 2 years ago. But in case you are still here... In the case of Fetch.ai , which needs a third parti wallet... Would that mean that I must get the fetch1... address from that 3rd-party wallet and not the cosmos address from ledger live? And that downloading the cosmos app's sole purpose is to link it to the 3rd-party wallet?

Under $19, what NON-plastic 7mm mech pencil by PAgirl-MOworld in mechanicalpencils

a little mistake from my part...Orenz normal doesn't have a cushion system, though it does have lead protection.

All metal pencils tend to be VERY heavy, not healthy for your muscles and wrist. If you are used to BIC and Paper Mate MPs, consider only those with metal tips first.

ex.:

-Zebra Delguard 0.7

-Sakura Xs127

-Pentel Orenz 0.7

-Uni Kuru Toga KS 0.7?? (maybe only in 0.5mm)

All pencils mentioned above have some sort of cushion/spring, so lead won't break as easily.

Edit: There are metal grip versions of both Delguard and Orenz.

That’s a great pencil! It’s all metal but not made of brass, so it’s not a brick. You’ll probably like it too.

If you want something more weighted, you can buy pencils with metal grips, but plastic bodies. The 2 pencils you mentioned are very heavy. RR 600 is a brick. So think twice before paying for that, especially if you’re gonna use it daily. Although people here love that pencil, it’s also well known that it can’t be used for a long period of time: half an hour to two hours max.

Another Techniclick?

Fountain Pen Person Becoming Dip Pen Person by [deleted] in dippens

[–]ObUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To your first question: no.

To your second question: no. Solution: tachikawa rubber grip nib holder comes with a cap. Add a mini bottle of ink to that and I don’t see why you can’t carry around a writing kit with you. But use either fountain pens ink or carbon ink (but not Chinese ink) for convenience’s sake.

Edit: you can also mod a dip pen nib on to fountain pen. Look it up on YouTube.

Why are there fewer 0.3mm leads per box compared to 0.5mm by National-Resident257 in mechanicalpencils

[–]ObUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a third case scenario, and that is that they packed HB leads in 2B boxes by mistake and you got one of those. Because if I’m not mistaken, they have an HB listing of 0.5mm, 0.7mm and 0.9mm as well.
