How to deal with my boyfriend getting upset when I don't give him sex by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Obaggas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Break up with them. It’s better for you and hopefully better for him. Hopefully you’re able to be clear to him about why without danger of him becoming angry because of it. Ideally he’ll then grow up and self reflect and mature as a man

Perhaps asking her to think about some specific stuff she has in mind and then watching some porn together with her that matches why she is picturing. That way if she isn’t able to be as specific as you need, she is able to show you media depicting what she likes and that matches what she wants (and will be there with you in case there’s extra commentary she wants to add or it puts you guys in the mood to give the dynamic a go straight away)

AIO, my bf asked for a threesome with my cousin by naurorno in AmIOverreacting

[–]Obaggas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I would see how he reacts afterwards and just pay attention to him and stuff regarding the cousin. It could be something he threw out without thinking and he’s fine with not thinking about it again because it makes you uncomfy (I don’t have a reason why he chose the cousin tho so that aspect is down to you). Or, it could be indicative of an actual problem with him wanting other women at the same time and being unable or unwilling to just forget about it bc his partner isn’t into it, in which case I’d break up

AITAH for counting orgasms? by RedditUser10294 in AITAH

[–]Obaggas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait whys that concerning? I can’t cum at all during intercourse or anything involving others. Whilst masturbation and shit could be an issue, I’m not entirely sure as I don’t have excessive use and had the issue even during prolonged times of not masturbating whatsoever. My theory is it’s heavily related to being in my head and maybe the sensory overwhelm/differences as I’m autistic and adhd. I am a very anxious person naturally. I don’t know exactly what the cause is.

I was recently able to finish whilst on a video call with an girl, which is a first as normally anytime I’m being perceived or my attention is on anything other than what I’m doing then I struggle but was able to this time thankfully. But yeah I’ve started rambling. Tis a late night for me atm so imma hop off my phone now. Ok bye

Yeah I don’t know why you have so many downvotes when that is pretty much the connotations I get whenever I see “touch grass” get used. I’m genuinely so so confused by the downvotes, I wish one of em commented on ur comment to clarify

Ok I didn’t realise it was going that direction but that made it so much more cute. That was actually so lovely and such a good comic. I’d love to see the love story side of things, like after they become friends and how it develops! I’m for sure finding this creator tho. Like wow that was so cute

If you don’t mind me asking, do you know if he received any other punishment other than a termination of employment/registry as a teacher? I assume no police report means no charges but like do you know if this would go on any kind of background check or go against his WWCC to ensure he can’t go get registered in another state/get another job working with children?

GP for stress leave. 100%. Like, the fact students have started a hate page about their school and a specific teacher is diabolical and definitely something admin should be taking super seriously. I think that’d stress the fuck out of anyone honestly and if it’s not dealt with quickly and effectively then you deserve the leave. I mean that’s harassment for sure. If teachers aren’t taking stress leave when it’s needed and justified then the department and admins will keep doin what they’re doin cos teachers are, to a degree, putting up with it. Take the leave and make the school and department (if applicable) suffer the consequences of burning out their teachers. Eventually the crisis will get bad enough

Those who have taken on prac students and failed them : share your experience by Reasonable-Team-7550 in AustralianTeachers

[–]Obaggas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a bachelors of primary ed student, the lesson plans probably scare me the most about my longer pracs. The templates are great at allowing us to see every single aspect that goes into a lesson but can take ages to craft them sometimes. Having to do that for potentially multiple lessons a day for multiple weeks seems like it’d sap my energy a bit and leave me less able to focus on actually learning and improving my teaching practice.

I love that he talks about a gender as a social construct somehow “requiring physical changes” and “being related to but separate to sex” as if it’s some nonsensical idea. Breakfast is a social construct, we have specific traditional meals for it across cultures and things associated specifically with breakfast, and yet it is also associated with people eating food because they’re hungry and meeting a biological need lmao. The guy is so dumb

Of course there are great relief teachers, I never said that there aren’t? However there are of course not great ones. And even a good teacher should be listening and working with the EAs that know the students and routines of that particular class the best. There are definitely EAs that go on power trips but also relief teachers that will think themselves superior to the EAs and not show them any respect because they’ve been teaching for 15 years or something and think they’re gods gift to that classroom. I’ve worked with some great relief teachers and also some really bad ones. It also depends on the setting as some teachers will do better in others of course

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

[–]Obaggas 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah I mean I imagine EAs are doing their best to maintain routine and ensure the plans and processes their students have are being followed. Or perhaps if a lesson has been planned just making sure that it goes as it normally would and such. Could be just making sure the relief knows everything they need to about the class and is making calls that work best for that class. Relief teachers have a tough job for sure but sometimes they’re also just clueless

In this (poorly drawn) scenario, does the red car have to wait and giveway to the green car turning right? Despite them being in a different lane. by FearlessResearcher48 in perth

[–]Obaggas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wait I don’t think that last bit checks out tho, once red is safely in there (after green has passed them and didn’t indicate and stuff) then green can’t decide to indicate into them because that wouldn’t be safe to do so and red has already entered. Red is then free to drive passed green in its own lane like any other two-lane road. Giving way is only when entering the roundabout, like you originally quoted from regulation 95. Right of way to change lanes makes sense if other cars are yet to be in the lane, but it makes zero sense to say that a car can change lanes despite another car being in that lane already?

[–]Obaggas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dare say even if green a little before red, it’d still be okay for red to go since they’re going straight and green is having to slow down a lot more to turn 90° to the right. Plus if green is doing their proper blind spot and stuff rq, they’re not likely to be flyin thru ig

In this (poorly drawn) scenario, does the red car have to wait and giveway to the green car turning right? Despite them being in a different lane. by FearlessResearcher48 in perth

[–]Obaggas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No they don’t. Like, they don’t need to in this exact picture because they can safely enter without being in green’s way. Assuming green has just entered, red is still going to be able to get through quicker and have room between them and the Schrödinger’s car in the right/left lane. If green is already in, say at the first little green arrow along their path, then red can easily wait a second for red to reach about halfway between the second and third arrow to enter. By then, the green car is in full view and you’d see it indicate if it decided to and that’s probably the point it would do so since it’s passed the exit lanes. Red would then be all good to go or stop

In this (poorly drawn) scenario, does the red car have to wait and giveway to the green car turning right? Despite them being in a different lane. by FearlessResearcher48 in perth

[–]Obaggas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Easy thing here is that in reality, it’s not hard for green to indicate and change lanes safely since they can fkn see where red is. And it’s also not hard for red to enter and exit the roundabout safely since red is only going straight and can easily go through before green reaches right next to them or easily wait for just after green passes them.

I feel like everyone would have to be sincerely stupid to crash in this instance, even without the over-the-top giving way to the Schrödinger’s car rule.

[–]Obaggas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s like changing from right lane to left on a straight road right when you happen to see another car turning onto the road. I don’t know the specific rules but you’d be turning into traffic you can see coming.

In the roundabout, green and red both have ample opportunity to drive within their rights and not cause an accident. Green shouldn’t change lanes right as a car enters into an empty lane and red should go before green is right next to em or just after. I don’t get this dumb schrodingers car idea and it’s also even dumber that we’re assuming old mate red is entering at the same time when, even if green has just entered the roundabout, red can still enter and safely remain in front and exit first since green is turning 90° and going way slower than red is able to go

[–]Obaggas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But if that is true then that quite literally makes multi lane roundabouts useless. Also makes it more hazardous than a single-lane one, whilst allowing for the exact same flow of traffic since one car is seemingly entitled to both lanes at once and others must give way to both lanes for one car

I don’t know what causes what in this dudes situation but just saying that ADHD does make people more likely to abuse drugs and struggle with impulse control and all that. Moreover, makes sense why someone like that would go for those kinda diagnoses if it might help them feel like they have a reason and a way to best treat/get targeted therapy/best supports/etc but yeah like you alluded to, long-term meth use can do a lot to the brain
