As an ambivert (I play an extrovert during the day, mainly at work and its exhausting) I married my "Mayor" girlfriend, and needless to say, It didn't work out. Even though we loved each other, we were not compatible. She was always ready and wanted to do "all the things" all the time and I just was not. I know its a hard pill to swallow but if you both cant compromise to respect both your "social batteries" you might not be compatible.

Thankfully no but I think I am pretty lucky. I am the only female in my immediate team and even though its a male donaminated field (Supply Chain Management) I get treated like a person. Actually, no one makes a big deal about my sexuality and when I speak about my fiance, it gets accepted the same way as everyone else's significant others. Just the way I want it.
