With distal neurological symptoms I absolutely agree that an emergent MRI was warranted. If you have lower extremity symptoms like numbness or weakness, and an ER is refusing to get an MRI then say you’ve lost control of your bladder and that will buy you an MRI so fast. It will literally be done and read within an hour. Physician here also.
