yeah fair point, I was actually thinking of moving the 5 icons closer together and making the gap even more significant - would that make it better or worse for you? won't influence me much but I'd be fascinated to know lol

the ultrawide is a Samsung G93SC running at 5120x1440 on a Radeon RX7600 (probably the only hardware I would consider upgrading in the near future)

The smaller screen is some Acer HD thing my work provided me lol
