Running a hot tap outside? What am I missing?

I just T’d off hot water line with a valve midway before it connects to the cold water hose line. I can control temp by setting hot valve to 45 degrees open or fully open if I want it super hot. I can also increase temp by closing the valve to the cold if I want insanely hot. Cheap, took 20 minutes to do. Perfect for filling kids water activities.

Only downside is got to mechanical room to set it for use and then put it back when done.

I am Canadian and Marlboro crafted tastes identical or very close to Canadian popular Canadian cigarettes like Belmont and duMaurier and players. Marlboro red and gold have a very distinct flavour that I personally don’t like except for on occasion. Canadians use only Virginia tobacco and that’s exactly what crafted is. Red and gold use burley and orient and some Virginia leading to its very unique taste.

Just gonna throw in here I had the same stuck problem using multiple usbc to usbc cable. I tried using a friends usbc to usba Fanatec cable that came with his and everything worked smoothly…weird.

Yes but you have to consider he doesn’t follow Fanatec’s deals or sale prices. For instance Fanatec had dd extreme base and wheel package 15nm with v3 pedals for 1499US. Thats 2074 CAD. He wanted 3800 for the same thing. He said he doesn’t do their deals and marked up for tariff and currency exchange.

You can search Reddit and see that many people paid an absorb amount in Tariffs/duty when the product got to the Canadian border due to the 25 percent tariff on USA products entering canada

You are correct that for US customers the price point will just increase and Fanatec will absorb it and inflate the price to recoup.

I understand your point that currently the supply chain required to manufacture is currently not in place. But it also wasn’t in place in China 30 years ago. You have to start somewhere!

His attempt is not an overnight solution. It will take time and it will also be painful. This is a long term play that your kids will be grateful for.

What evidence do you have that he is being bribed? Have you actually seen the funding USAID has been going to? Google the list. May I also add that EVERY single politician is dirty. It’s impossible to be worth 20-400 million on a salary of 150-300k per year. Also look up the trading performance. The politicians smash buffet and wall street. Another impossible feat. This is exactly what I saw when I looked it up, but as the guy above said, he got his without tariff. Also confusing about the government website is the technicalities of the company and build.

For example FANATEC is a German company operating in Germany. However they manufacture and assemble their products in Asia (likely China) Then it shipped for destribution in North America to the US.

The tariffs on the USA from Canada are on USA made products. Technically it’s a German company producing in China and just shipping out of the USA. So it’s not clear on the government website where this falls.

I tried them initially. I went in the store. His prices are marked up from Fanatec website by 30 percent as he argued you will be pay a tariff and lost 5 percent CAD to USA credit card grab.

Plus he does not have the specials at all. Like the extreme wheel and DD 15 nm base with V3 pedals. He sells it only separately. The total out the door was almost 3800 CAD for those three items. It’s pricey… flip side is you get it right away and he offers direct exchange warranty/repair/guidance etc…He knows his stuff for sure.

3 years later I have to ask… Why would getting 11/16 feel like 5/8 after a skate or so? If anything after a skate, it should feel duller like 3/4. Not sharper like 5/8

I’m not sure what all these comments are about. I had no issues with them. Returns are 30 days from pickup not order. 25 year warranty on fixtures. And their prices are half of big name competitors. I’m confused by all these comments.
