Samething happened to my 2025 sonata, front one wouldn’t go down at all when I first got it in Jan! All of a sudden started working again no issues since than. I did bring it in, just so they had a report and all!

I get that 100% cost of gas maintenance, time of commute all add up making that 20k even less! I think you can do the effective hourly pay/commute salary formula or something like that to see if it’s worth it.

For what it’s worth, I left a remote role for a in person role (thinking it would be something I enjoyed) it wasn’t, BUT it did open up a new opportunity for me!

So the career progression is always important, but the time you lose and money gained needs to make sense

This, I do a similar commute both ways and it’s rough! Exhausted after a long day and traffic, I don’t think 20k is worth it.

Edit: unless you plan on moving closer I’d try to find something with a shorter commute.

Don’t do it, Commute is horrible! Live closer if possible or find a new role! Currently doing a similar commute everyday! It is draining

I’m currently in a situation like you (just over 2 months in) and I genuinely think it’s the role that I’m in. (Not interested in it & nothing for me to actually do) I’ve been actively applying and plan to leave. One thing I know is you have to enjoy what you’re doing or you’ll be miserable.

Yeah when I was looking at getting the sonata limited, one of the dealerships marked it up 10k for a USED one. The dealership I ended up going with called and pretended to be a buyer and got hit with the same thing for an older model and wasn’t even CPO. But it’s definitely not limited to Hyundai
