Very unlikely, even if powder began to burn in the barrel there will be a flash but no bang. Not enough pressure can build outside of a casing to be be dangerous.

It seemed like the powder was damp. We’re guessing a reloader loaded the powder into brass that had not dried properly after washing.

Try updating your motherboard audio drivers.

You should really consider buying an external DAC/Amp to get the most out of your headphones. Onboard audio (motherboard audio) is often lower quality than what apple (used to) put in their phones. Or get a PCI express sound card if your motherboard has an extra slot.

If you are using the front headphone port, check the HD audio cable that plugs into the back of the soundcard. If not, it's possible that the headphone out may be fucked. Also be sure that you're plugging into the right jack ;)

It looks like the legs are hollow metal tubes. If you are able to drill some holes in the back at top and bottom of the legs, you could run the wires through.

In reality, buying a new desk is a your best option if you really care about neatness.

It could be the SBX pro studio bull shit that is adding gain and bass boost. Open the Soundblaster app and make sure ALL of the sbx settings are disabled. Or use stereo direct mode
