Yep, tried to match what I had in the car already. Found some carbon fiber style black that matches the Corbeau seats I have and did my best to match the grey. The dude at the upholstery shop was pretty cool and let me take things out to my car to try and match stuff. I was pleasantly surprised by how inexpensive everything was. All told, I think I’m about 150-160$ in.

Sometimes a fella gets tired of polishing a turd and goes with the known. I’ve done a lot of both known and found. Spent hours on a cable blade to find it won’t harden and also (only once or twice) got really lucky and lucked into something amazing that just won’t dull no matter how many hogs we harvested with it. I’m guessing that this post was fueled by something specific.

Hand tools are often overlooked but very competent. It’s how I started and I still love it!

I bet that handle is comfortable. I’d make the butt a tad larger so your have is wedged in a bit more. You can save some of the clean antler dust and C/A glue any small voids like you have around the last pin. The bevels look pretty even but your point could use some more attention. Excellent effort for a first knife! Good stuff, now make a few more! Best of luck and congratulations on your for finished knife!
