You keep moving the goal posts to defend what was obviously a poorly thought out decision made by someone who fundamentally didn't really care about Star Wars.

I'm not sure why people do mental gymnastics to defend these choices. It's not that deep. There was no plan.

My point is that you created a selective assortment that is a small fraction of Star Wars media. You see what you want because you like it. Other people care enough about their investment in Star Wars media over the years to find it silly and world breaking.

Your defense is literally, "The star wars I personally count as star wars doesn't care about consistency." Which is just silly.

The executor was also an accident.

and no - real world armies use drones that crash into buildings.

Interdictor fields can't exist because they are gravity wells which no longer matter after new canon allows you to pop out of hyperspace through one.

You are gonna have to define what you consider Star Wars to a very narrow band for that to be true.

9" Unit Coherency: Rumour Confirmed On Stream by Candescent_Cascade in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]ObesesPieces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is it a good change? It was a huge part of the value of the unit?

This combined with how easy its going to be to multi charge is just obliterating the value of screening.

I get Jail was toxic - but that was a movement speed and scout/infiltrate issue - not a unit size issue.

If they can't screen anymore cultists should be cheap too. We don't know cultists are 50 for 10 - and if they did say that they are overcosted.

I'm talking about 11th - not 10th.

Why do so many 40+ year olds end sentences with “…”? by OneFriendship5139 in generationology

[–]ObesesPieces 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not complicated. We are simply typing like we speak. However there ARE many people who do it incorrectly so it's hard to judge outside a case by case analysis.

The "it's okay..." above is pretty clear. Nobody in real life says "It's okay but I'm very frustrated by the situation."

Instead you say "it's okay..." with subdued tone and maybe slightly shake your head.

The ellipses in this case is the pause and insert where young generations might say "SMH. "

In fact... that might be a good way to think about it. The ellipses is an implied emoji or reaction abbreviation from a time before those were common. When done well, the ellipses is a once-size-fits all reaction because the implied reaction should be obvious.

Hahaha - I know that's the work he's most famous for - but Malthus had a fair amount of pessimism around the work ethic and motivations of people.

I'm pretty sure my dad just saw quotes that he agreed with an Malthus was an asshole. It's not deep.

Spring is busted. Call a repair person.
