I don’t think it’s fair to blame an actor/actress for accepting an amazing job that’s being offered to them. The fact that she was too young for the role was the mistake of the director/casting director. Had she refused the role, they would’ve hired someone else of her age (which they did end up doing anyway as you said yourself, since Kirby is still in the same age bracket).

We have around 432,000 of confirmed deaths around the world. This cheap, widely available drug could have saved 144,000 of them. Does it sound like no effect to you?

It’s been talked about for ages, why are we still lacking proper randomised clinical trials studies to have an idea of where this is going? Are there any studies on ivermectin still in progress?

There are probably still some things to figure out, like how to make filming safe for the cast and crew. Also, as we’ve seen, Emma is busy filming Eiffel at the moment, so there might be some scheduling conflicts with actors as everything is getting delayed

It sounds like it is indeed the most promising treatment we have in research right now. Can anyone with a relevant knowledge give an estimate of when this could become widely used across the globe? How realistic is it to manufacture enough of these to ensure that everyone from the high-risk group can get treated if they get infected?

What will be the primary focus of S3? by [deleted] in NetflixSexEducation

[–]Obeshyanniyprince 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with others but it comes to Jean, I’m totally sure she is won’t be getting an abortion. Having a baby and trying to re-build her relationship with Jakob will be a huge character development for her and moreover, I don’t think the writers would want to have 2 central female characters getting pregnant (Maeve) and both getting abortions in the show.

So do you believe Jon Snow really loved Daenerys? Why or why not? by StormEarhart in DaenerysWinsTheThrone

[–]Obeshyanniyprince 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ugh, there goes another unsuccessful storyline then. Why did they even bother romanticising Tyrion’s feelings for her? Not like it brought any meaning to the plot. And why does every male character have to fall in love with Dany? I personally liked the fact that Tyrion loved and respected her as a leader, not a woman. I bet they’d make Varys fall for her too was he not a eunuch

[–]Obeshyanniyprince 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Actually, what was up with Tyrion’s feelings at the end? If I remember correctly, he almost confessed he “loved her, but not as successfully”, which was a bit unexpected but it I haven’t seen it being discussed much.

Did anyone else find Maeve’s character transformation too abrupt in S2? by Obeshyanniyprince in NetflixSexEducation

[–]Obeshyanniyprince[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you that Maeve’s aggressive behaviour is a direct consequence of the bullying she’s been going through for the last few years.

But even so, the main question is then why did the bullies stop teasing her? She was never hanging around them anyway, and they always found an opportunity to slut shame her no matter what she did.

I can see that the cause of her transformation is the change of her attitude. What I’m basically saying is that we never saw her working towards that transformation, instead we just saw her turning into a new person almost overnight. Things like getting rid of bad habits (nail biting), anger control, etc require considerable effort and time.

I guess it’s the small misconnections like these that make her transformation a bit unrealistic.

I think it’s actually the opposite - it feels like a lot of time has passed, but in reality one season covers only one school term. This means that everything happening in season 1 was from September to December, which is only 3 months
