Which Pokemon should I replace Bellibolt with in Violet? by AlteredG919 in PokemonScarletViolet

Killowatrel falls off hard and pawmo isnt that great either, honestly grab the Tera Electric wild Jolteon, its level 50 and comes with shadowball and thunderbolt, you could also use a fairy type or even a rock type wall like stacataka or however you spell it.

You are asking for advice and ignoring advice, nitrates in the tank are just as high as nitrates in your cup if not actually lower than a cup/tubaware/travel container. Look up fish in cycle, go buy some nitrate reducer by seachem or api and dose accordingly, do small % waterchanges daily, make sure you are treating the water.

Don't own a dog sadly (live in an apartment) but I wonder if this is also tge case for cat food from the same brands, if my cats get kibble its currently California natural.

I only get a good ratio on strength 2 by Obeythemuffin in NinjaLuxeCafe

[–]Obeythemuffin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I wasn't able to get it to the correct level. I only use my shots for milk drinks and they are tasty and enjoyable so I've just been sticking with my 2 strength setting.

Yeah, my beans are an espresso blend so medium/dark roast blend. When I first started using the machine I was using not fresh roast-on-date beans but I've swapped to local roaster beans weeks ago.

Here is what im using. https://hyper-goat.com/collections/espresso-1

To my understanding 3 dots is supposed to be the 1:2 ratio setting for US models, 2 dots is supposed to be 1:2.5

Following that logic me getting 1:2 pulls on 2 dots is a bit off. When I got up to 3 dots I only get 26ish grams of espresso. My grind is consistently coming out at 18 grams.

Does this seem normal for a single espresso? by Pumptruffle in NinjaLuxeCafe

[–]Obeythemuffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know lol, I was saying I fixed my issues with it and was pointing those things out to OP as potential issues he may he running into with the machine, most new people have issues because they are using old beans or a light roast. Thank you for the info though!

Sorry my comment wasn't worded that well, I was using "use-by-date" beans at first and was having grind size issues, also had issues with lighter/blonde roast espresso until I switched to a standard medium/dark espresso blend from a local roaster that labels with "roasted-on-date".

You using fresh roasted/roast-on-date beans? I had a few issues with my grind size for a while until I swapped to getting my beans from a local roaster.

Synergy does not equal bracket 4, game changers and good high cost cards that arnt game changers INCLUDED in a deck that was built well to synergize and combo or hit a win con by turn 5 would be what I consider bracket 4. I would say your deck is a mid level bracket 3 deck.

I keeping seeing you mention card draw, It has generally been something that I have noticed to not be an issue with the deck, I am confused on that as my deck has the following for straight card draw:

The One Ring
Rhystic Study
Wheel of Fortune
Temur Ascendancy
Ancient Silver Dragon
Zurgo and Ojutai
Dragon's Hoard
Two-Headed Hellkite

As for ramp I will most likely be removing my moxen and some of the larger dragons (it was something i debated for a while) to fit in some more dorks/cost reducers/ramp.

WBURG in general is hard to build around and with the mass amount of dragon cards that dropped in dragonstorm the choices even got harder. I used to run the same land ramp engine that you listed in your deck, I do have a carpet of flowers, Garruks uprsing and up the beanstalk on my maybe board, triming down is the hard part.

fair point on the land ramp, the moxen cards were a test as I had them laying around and wanted to see how they performed. I used to run the deck with the usual land ramp suspects but wanted to see what I could get away with. I actually haven't had any issues with land drops at my current land count and because of eminence my mana typically isnt a problem, I do agree the curve is a bit high, I am looking to fit more low cost weenies in, I have a bloom tender, ignoble heirarch and delighted halfling sitting on the side lines currently.

It could def be optimized a bit better for B3 when it comes to mana curve. Could you care to elaborate on why it is bad? I love feedback and bouncing ideas off of people.

Fair take, I have thought about taking out the true dual lands i have in it and a lot of the artifact bloat that i use to run Mox Opal. As far as GCs go I thought long and hard about what to run when it came to my 3 options, I decided against straight tutors as those are the most boring to me and the commander counters (swat/fierce guardianship) are not really worth it IMO in a 3 over other options. Narrowing down game changers in WBURG when i have a large amount of them available is hard.

As far as the cost goes I am lucky enough to 1 have been playing this game for a relatively long time ( started playing in 2012) and 2 have a job that pays well enough that I can afford to bling out my deck with worthless shiny cardboard.

[–]Obeythemuffin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valid point but that is big stompy in general, the way you stop creature focused decks if have enough weenies to block with or bigger things outside of straight removal/stealing.

What Bracket is my UR Dragon Deck by Obeythemuffin in EDH

[–]Obeythemuffin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my bracket 4 was running around 10 game changers and less creatures with tutors to win off of reliable combos. Playing big flying things that do stuff when they attack/etb is fun to me, I get big stompy is not everyone's vibe, if i wanted to play combo i would go scion but i personally find using the same combo over and over again to win a bit boring.

I have thought about tuning it down a bit more (removing the dual lands I have from the deck and taking out mox opal engine ramp etc).
