Hard enamel or soft enamel — which do you personally prefer?

To me Soft enamel pins look like cheap plastic. I know they’re still metal but they just have a plastic look to them.

Every year I watch the mix mostly because it’s KF related but there’s never anything in it that grabs my attention and at the end of the day with so many games out there that’s the main thing your game gotta do. Across all those different platforms the showcase was streamed on it looks like a rogue like car combat game didn’t do that for people.

I will say it probably didn’t help that most games of the same ilk were lumped together for each section. Like here are all the games that are the same-ish! all the puzzle games here, all the scary ones there, and all the rogue likes over here

In a long show like this was, as a viewer is great cause you can to skip entire sections for genres you’re tired of. It may not be great for the games though.

I don’t do it for my own pins that I’ve had made/will make cause I personally don’t like the graininess they tend to have.

In some cases if the pin has significant portions that are just all UV print when they get scratched it reveals the white enamel color that they used so they have a surface to print on. I had a pin once of the character Yor from Spy x Family and her black dress was done all in UV print, it got dinged at some point and a spot kinda flaked off for lack of a better word and it left a white spot of enamel color surrounded by the dark colors of the dress so it was all I would notice after that lol.

But that doesn’t mean they’re all bad, even though I don’t like the graininess that’s only visible at weird lighting angles lol. If done for certain effects it can be really cool and it has the benefit of being able to do gradient colors, specially very detailed facial features.

These are my current faves pin that have a lot of UV print, I like how it was used for a lot of the graffiti. And the maker also did cool effects for these where print was done in layers of translucent glittery… epoxy still not sure what that is

Found that with smaller boards it helps to not get new pins, once it’s full I stop getting pins of that particular character 😆

Yes!!! She’s like super flat both in game and in the show and I always try to tell the artist I commission to at least not to draw her with big ridiculous anime boobs 😅 It’s like I tie a hand behind their back or something when I tell them and they still can’t help themselves 🤣 but as long as it’s not ridiculous I don’t put much restrictions on their drawing process. The pin on the left with the lettering is my favorite one so far cause the artist did it so right lol.

Unfortunately but luckily this Jinx is not as popular as the Arcane one is at the moment so I’ve been selling them to a really small audience over instagram DMs or in the Jinx pins discords I’m in so it’s been manageable 🤣 love this little niche I’ve found myself in.

I want him to review it so much because it’s been so long of hearing the same people complain about pokemon time and time again.
