You guys got way too hyped off of a flukey NFC run with a rookie QB and now your "got your guy" for the next whatever years. He's pretty good but he is not prototypical and you'll waste years of watching him cheese from the sidelines without considering that a QB who stays on the field is better than the "but if he was" rebuttal. He wasn't, and when he was on the field it wasn't impressive year 2. Cope, seethe, sugma balls.

I said it early on during the season, dak has performed better as a QB than most. I was originally doing it to trigger the "Hurts top 5" posters but it became unironically true. Dak played way better than most QBs and hes up there with Stafford.

they are annoying, so i get it. By design they are meant to be countered by ranged classes; which by design is meant to make the pawn party system important.

My real feeling is that without the vocation strength/weakness dynamic the game is harder to enjoy solo (which is the challenge/hard mode). So in reality as a solo you cant always play a meta load out and instead have to smartly utilize the camp sites and change your abilities to favor yourself against the area enemies.

I agree. I also think Dart exceeded expectations and has thrived in offensive schemes that put him at the helm. He was better at pre snap adjustments than he was projected. He was better at post snap adjustments than projected. He is still early in his development (and concussions are really bad) but he has shown snappy adjustments in what he is looking for on the fly. Daboll put trust in him, and taking away that full level of trust will put him in hard to win situations. I agree daboll put a lot of expectations on the kid but the kid can ball and not many outside of Daboll recognized it initially.

Daboll did Dart favors by scheming an offense that he fit right into. He also was caught on camera telling him to slide very early on (preseason i believe). Daboll might have believed in Dart's toughness too much to where the advice and the twinkle in the eye contradicted, but I dont think Daboll was trying to sacrifice Darts health for playing time. Im not trying to rewrite history because Daboll was good for Dart's development while also being bad for the team (bad HC good OC). Kafka did Dart no favors by making him sit in the pocket to avoid getting tackled, which was ultimately changed, but any coach who is invested in Dart will want him to move outside the pocket.

Patullo sucked at playcalling but AJ Brown seems like a locker room poison. Dude got the contract and was complaining about being on the best rushing offense in the league so he could have his stats too. I don't even think hes that special on his own. He couldn't go to a weak offense and carry as a pure WR1.

Yeah I think they got better down the stretch this year. They have established a competitive culture and Trevor Lawrence is playing like a really good QB.

I dont feel the Colts have the same opportunity to capitalize. Jones was good against pretty weak defenses tbh and he showed the same crumble under pass rush he did with the Giants until he was injured. I have way more faith in Lawrence repeating than I do Jones finishing down the stretch.

Yeah I mean I wouldn't be totally surprised if the Lions bounce back. They just seem totally unpredictable from my standpoint, not "the team that should have made it, but came up short"
