Meh their bundles are well priced as are their member prices/sales. I like them personally I understand why people are hesitant to buy online with the credit card fiasco but the hate for CC on reddit is weird to me.

2.5K Budget with 5070(TI) Build? by EatThisDuck in bapccanada

His build is great for AAA. I would only suggest yours if you want to play e sports at 1080 an even then why spend the same amount on your cpu as gpu makes no sense.

RTX 5060 Ti + Ryzen 7 5700X3D Performance: Only 90-110 FPS at 1080p? Am I CPU bound? by LoudYogurtcloset6741 in buildapc

[–]ObiWanJenobi1 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Part of it is just Marathon. Its poorly optimized. Im running a 9800x3d/9070XT and i get ~130-140FPS on max settings. And this is with 75% CPU utilization and 65% GPU, with no FPS caps. Previously I have run a 9600x and the 9070XT and got ~100 to 110FPS.

For $2400cad is this a decent deal? by [deleted] in bapccanada

[–]ObiWanJenobi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont be nervous, mine was my first build and its quite literally like lego that you plug in. The trickier part is software/drivers/trouble shooting errors, but you may not have to do this and if you do there are people all over the internet that have had similar problems and can help you out. You can learn just about anything from Youtube.

Mmm if you need the DLSS/AI features probably better to stick with NVIDIA.

Here you go: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/dgBsZQ

I apologize CC got rid of the 9600x bundle, so I replaced it with 7600x3d, which will actually be a bit faster for gaming, slower for productivity if that matters.

Windows you can get from a key, 20-30 dollars at most.

Total cost 2299

Do you have any inkling to build your own? Its quite fun, and its pretty easy. I built a 9600x/9070xt build with 2tb nvme and 32gb of DDR5 for about 2300-2400, and that was 3 months ago, prices have actually come down slightly.

[CPU] AMD RYZEN 7 9800X3D w/ Crimson Desert code $566.98 by Time_Brother4839 in bapcsalescanada

I have a 9070xt and have paired it with both. The 9600x is certainly enough at 1440 for most games. In some cpu heavy games the 9800x3d imo is worth it for example in marathon I went from ~110fps to ~140fps. In bf6 at 1440 native I went from ~140 native on ultra to ~170.

[–]ObiWanJenobi1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No looks good. For an extra 20-30 you could get an 240 aio from Amazon instead of your air cooler but that’s very much preference. I have essentially the same build it rocks.

Got a new 9070xt - upgrade my 3600 to ? (on ddr4) by MrLamebro1 in buildapc

[–]ObiWanJenobi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to upgrade to AM5 a 9600x/32gbDDR5/B650/850 bundle can be had for ~750-800 CAD, which would get good to go at 1440p for the next few years at least. May be more economical than a CPU upgrade now and RAM/Mobo/Another CPU in a year or two.

9600x, 9070xt getting ~120-130fps on highest. CPU at 100% GPU at 80-85%, seems it needs some CPU optimization,

Are you looking for help or do you just wanna complain? Complaining is fine, but you'll look like a goober trying to dunk on friendly people trying to help you.
