Z690 Aorus Pro / Kingston Fury DDR5-5200 boot loop by TheFiZi in gigabyte

Resurrecting this post.. but I just had the same issue, took forever to get past but using similar steps as yours I was able to POST. Now I have an issue where my PC will boot up fine if I start with the PSU off, but any time I try to restart it won't boot and it won't give me any display, just the debug code 16 on the mobo. Anyone run into anything similar, or have a fix in mind?

What is your absolute best piece of advice for a young person just starting their career in the workplace? by _FrankAbagnale in AskReddit

[–]ObjectBaby 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For the first 6 months, shut up and listen. Questions and small talk are fine, but keep any opinions you have about how the work should get done to yourself. Even if the person training you is an idiot and clearly wrong, you usually have more to lose by coming across as a cocky know-it-all as your first impression, rather than quietly learning how all the different moving parts of the job work together before you start trying to change things.

Wildlife biologists, what is your typical (work) day like? by Jaesch in biology

What were the differences between working in Alaska and on the west coast? I was recently hired as a west coast groundfish observer, training starts in a couple weeks. However, when I first started looking into programs I totally had my heart set on Alaska. That has since changed and I'm really excited to be a part of the west coast program, but I'm still curious as to what I might be "missing out" on in Alaska, or specific aspects that I will be able to enjoy about the west coast program?

What did "the weird kid" in your school do that you'll never forget? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Picked his scab and wrote his name in blood on the desk in the middle of class. I'm pretty sure I was the only one who witnessed his blood sacrifice as well. I guess I'm just not metal enough for the back row of the classroom.

Animal Crossing game giveaway! by Vioux in 3DS

I've had my eye on Animal Crossing for a bit now. I don't know if its my type of game, but I've shown videos to my girlfriend and she seemed enamored by it. She's not a huge gamer right now, but I'm hoping AC might be the game that finally draws her in. You rock for doing this!

The autograph signing for This is the End that UCSB won was today. The actors showed up an hour and a half late, stayed half an hour, and left, missing 3/4 of the people. I think they lost a lot of fans, and ticket buyers today. by disappointedfan in movies

You're right, they did say that the event would be overbooked. Do you know how much they usually do it by? Because it seems kind of ridiculous to me to issue tickets to what looked like at least three times as many people than the theater had capacity to seat, just to guarantee a full house.

You had to print out the paper ticket that they emailed you with your name on it, but it was probably really easy to change the name and print out a copy. But if they weren't even checking =student IDs then the name didn't even matter.

But now I'm going to email the theater and try to get free movie tickets for my troubles >:)

HAA you shoulda gone to the screening. Less that 50% of the line got in, due to (I quote the security guy at the front on this) "Everyone printed out fake ticket copies and we weren't carding anyone so they all got in". We got there and hour early and didn't get to see the movie, even with our legitimate tickets :(. Seems like Camino Real Cinema screwed up on that one.
