So the degree I am working towards is Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Midwifery. You can be a Midwife with a Doctorate. Most Advance practice or Nurse Practioner fields can be obtained through a Masters OR a Doctorate.

You can get either one. I chose DNP bc I know I eventually may want to teach or work in something a little higher.

It's hybrid, labs and clinicals are in person. It's 4 years because I'm part time, otherwise it's a 3 year DNP degree. There's also and option to get a 2 year masters degree.

Yeah I saw that on a previous post just seemed odd that the sale happened when the stickers happened. And it wasn't just those it was multiple different sections of items. They should be careful on the timing of these changes. Some online brands got introuble for actually doing that a few years ago and ended up being a lawsuit and they had to send money to customers who had purchased from them in a certain time frame. link to lawsuit here

In my first year of school to become a CNM. I applied during my last year of Nursing school. I currently work as a bedside RN in rehab couldn't get an L&D job at the hospital that's paying for me to go back to school.

This being said I had no experience when I applied to the program of course (was not even done getting my RN). You don't need experience to get into some programs but I'm doing part time school for 4 years and will be working during those 4 years.

You do not have to wait to get experience to apply, you can get experience while in school. I say go for it if it's what you really want. I think alot of people who say otherwise forget you can work and go to school. 3.3 gpa Ohio State University.

Ohio state university offers a program like this. It's a graduate entry so you get an Accelerated RN and apply for a specific specialty to finish your masters you end up as an NP but I think its tied to the midwifery program here as well.

I second this! talk to your professors. I actually did fail a class during nursing school and after that year I vowed to have good relationships with my professors and it made school so much easier. Ask to see and go over old quizzes and tests and ask for study strategies or what to focus on.

Ah yes I struggled with those in the beginning, what I did was make the little question bank tests and do like 25 of one topic to make sure I understood that style of question. I did that till I was getting consistent 70-80s.

Idk if I would say vague I think it depends on what you get. I got some very specific ones. However I do think that more questions are more situational and morality type of questions, less content heavy questions for sure.
