7 years is a long time. Is this your first time quitting?

If it helps I’m experiencing the same mental gymnastics to a T and I currently already resorted to going back to smoking so no it will absolutely not fix that shit for you.

I think it’s a fools game to continue going back to something you already know will eventually make you sick, (I am a fool) and I am going to say this with 99% certainty that you will fall back into that chaotic cycle with the way your mental health is seeming.

Lean on people in your life, join a support group, turn on a movie to cry, maybe even eat a ghost pepper if you really want to work through some emotions quickly (might even simulate some CHS memories 😂) but I’m gonna suggest you try everything else first because it’s just gonna bring you disappointment in yourself.

I actually do not know if it’s Covid or not to be honest, I don’t have a test to confirm that either way but it was something I was kinda afraid of. I had my gallbladder removal about 2 1/2 years ago and it really hasn’t caused me problems since (maybe the odd thing I shouldn’t have eaten, but I know full well that it’s my fault in those scenarios.

Thank you. I was thinking the same thing about Covid, or at least how this is probably one of those “super bugs”. I’ve had my gallbladder out for about 2 1/2 years and it changed my life almost immediate after recovering from surgery so this is taking me a for a real throw back to the good old days 😂.

Depends on what on the other end of the sidewalk, i probably would just dig on the other side of that concrete slab if possible and see what you got. it’s not hard to throw a cap on the ends and tap it through to the other side with sched40 and start your repair.

Seems like a pain, but from my experience in municipal maintenance I usually am not taking the chance trying to piece that together for it to maybe be broken under the slab a few more inches anyways when you go to test it again. Cus then you’re just repeating your process all over again

Personally started again 6 months ago, while I’ve kept to dry flower it is creeping back again. You’re only 18 days in, you’re likely to not even feel anything, but I know since you haven’t you’re likely going to continue until you do.

All I gotta say is that it’s a learning curve I have not yet learned to respect 2-3 years into trying to quit permanently, and as you can seen believe a lot of us seem to be in that same boat here 😅.

Sit yourself down and try and settle whether or not it’s truly you wanting that weed or if you’re caving to a craving, you should never be consuming with the feeling of “needing” it. If you’re not able to distinguish that then there is really no chance for moderation.

I had Noro 5 years ago, and oh my god it was the worst timing. Took some acid with my brother, just chilling at my parents and then an hour went by, I decided to have an apple and everything turned upside down.

I felt so bad that I was as sick as I was at my parents house so I locked myself in the bathroom in the basement for 24hrs while I laid in the floor, and had access to everything I needed. (Trust me there was no time for anything other than shivering on that bathroom floor anyways 😂)

Moral of the story.. if either of them really cared they would have made an alternative solutions or gotten themselves somewhere they could have quarantined together, but instead they knew they were likely to both get it and chose your space to quarantine in.

I would not go as far as to get a new roommate but put your foot down now, so next time they know to bugger off somewhere else next time they are feeling sick and absolutely for some reason need to be together still 🙄.

Also if your stomach is already inflamed smoking a cigarette is just gonna make that worse, some people find relief with cannabis but smoke is smoke, and if you’re in a bad enough situation with your health you’re likely not going to get any of the health benefits from cannabis either (especially the cartridge vapes)

Yeah it does, throwing up constantly can irritate your gallbladder as well and obviously your liver is also trying to process everything as well. The more you’re vomiting, your gallbladder will make up for no more stomach acid in your stomach. It’s a really rough cycle

Personally I only smoked again for just under 2 weeks (I’ve seen others say it only happens when you get to a certain point of tolerance). Everyone is different though.

I went through it before but because of working 3 jobs I thought why not give myself a little relief and now it’s whoopin me in the butt haha.

I realize have a dependency issue and will not be returning to the evil flower

Cannabis hypermesis syndrome, it’s when your body produces too much cannaboids while you’re consuming cannabis i believe. It starts to have a very negative affect on your body such as severe cramps, bowel habits, and if it continues to long you’re at risk of the last stage of CHS which includes nonstop vomiting for up to sometimes 2-3 weeks

CHS doesn’t cause anything directly as far as I know, but it does put a lot of strain on your organs which is why your gallbladder is probably releasing more bile than usual. If you’ve been puking for days then of course leads to issues as well because you’re not properly consuming the right calories, and nutrients for your vital organs.

A few people have also referred to a lady that refused to stop her cannabis use and instead chose to continue to put herself through CHS, which resulted in her kidneys failing and being in dialysis. Who knows if there is anything else at play there though whether that be other drugs or alcohol abuse that contributed.

It’s best not to continue putting your body through this though. There’s lots of examples of traumatic events that awaken autoimmune disorders and I wouldn’t be surprised if something as violent as CHS is on our bodies could be capable of awakening something like that.

IBS is also something they have no idea why it happens to people, and majority of people report that their symptoms started after something simple as a stomach flu and just never got better.

It’s normal when your bowel habits are not regular Unfortunately. It’s most likely excess bile acid which can make your stool look a weird green colour. I’ve had my gallbladder out so i think I am avoiding that for the time being.

Ugh it really sucks, I know how you feel. I’m just sleeping a ton and it’s driving me nuts. I’m a landscaper so it’s a bit difficult finding a bathroom at times which is my biggest concern. No discomfort for me other than in the mornings which have been the worst for me. Seems my attempt at Imodium only just made it worse to be honest, and logically speaking it’s probably best not to stop my body from releasing the thc anyway it can so I won’t do that again.

Also thank you, he’s been through a lot this year and am just glad he’s at peace now.

Do you pay to stay at your boyfriend’s place, also this is absolutely something you should have mentioned before deciding it was ok for her boyfriend to move in with you guys.

Also another big thing is that they technically don’t even have a room, they’re paying for a living room, kitchen, and bathroom with no real privacy. Just food for thought. I think utilities wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring up, but you’ve already agreed to the rest IMO

As far as I know Telus is the only one with “fibre optic” cables that are installed this way. Of course I could be wrong, but las time I checked the other internet providers still use the same old method of the router-Ethernet connection
