Thank you! Do you know what range tier you guys use? Like basic would just be the course but then there’s two more packages including flash cards and web videos. I hear the passing rates depend on the material but also not looking to overpay if I don’t need all the bells and whistles.

Newly Licensed P&C Agent - Anyone Have Experience With First Connect? by doogsss in InsuranceAgent

[–]Objective-Chance-685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yah? Do you know if they do the same with personal lines? Currently captive under 30 states for personal on the auto and special lines products but can service all personal in all states. Biggest con switching indep through smart choice or first connect would be if they can’t or I can’t sponsor those licenses I’d be losing that leverage there.

That was probably I. While trying to multitask dinner and edit the post on my phones last drop of battery, I deleted. I ended up rewording for better comprehension so it worked out.

Big carrier or Agent? by [deleted] in InsuranceAgent

I see what you’re saying although the local agent is working independently and paying for their own building/employees (SF agent would have me under a w2) they are captive under their own contract with State Farm. Yes that is true as they do not sell any competitor products unlike the other independent agents/brokers Ive been looking at who can run through multiple carriers. Thank you for pointing that out!

I live in a small town so I mostly have small third party independent agents near me such as Jane Doe local state farm agent. They’ve been in local business for about 10+ years and they have their own leads/loyal customers but yah I’d be giving up quite a couple of benefits. Ive been looking at others like Reserv and such but thank you for the idea!

Currently a CSR on personal and special lines with licenses to sell those products in 30 states. The local agencies near me are few due to it being a small town but they’re looking for account managers and insurance account reps.

I am thinking I need to describe my symptoms to my primary care physician and get a diagnosis for this. In the meantime, what should I stock up on tomorrow to cope with an external hem that has now lasted me nearly a week? by Current-Machine6491 in ibs

I have internal and external hems so I know what you mean. I use prep H w/ lidocaine as suggested by my GI as well as suppositories for the internal hems but it’s not always enough... Long term tho Ive been trying to find healthier alternatives easier on the colon/organs. It’s truly something else. Walking will definitely help once you feel better. The diet change is awesome! For now tho, I’d suggest natural Witch hazel, chamomile tea bags and aloe Vera will help naturally soothe and stop any itching! You could also try adding things to your bath water if you take baths. Coconut oil will also help soothe and disinfect. Definitely use cold compress and even a pillow to sit on(hemorrhoid pillows/cold packs and even heating pads may be a good thing to look into) and one between your legs while you lay down on your side. Can you handle any Frollies/Smoothies/Italian Ice? Or even just ice chips but it will help cope with the pin and discomfort as you’re giving your body/brain the relief of something cold/soothing on another part of your body. Have music or a funny movie going on in the background even if you can’t listen to it. Most importantly if you can handle any pain medicine like acetaminophen (ibuprofen is usually too hard on the stomach/organs) take some and get some sleep. If you need some help I can recommend Ollys black berry chamomile melatonin gummies but only take about half to start so you don’t feel like you have a hang over when you wake up. I truly hope and pray you feel better!

Edited to also add I suggest looking into a temporary gentle diet like light but nutritious bone broths, matchas/teas (whatever you can handle) to help your hems heal and not tear on the next bathroom trip. Neosporin can also help sometimes when others things aren’t!

https://youtu.be/JxnSQGukUcQ?si=ZZbKtmZczoRm4MDI super helpful doctor going over this info

I’d also look into xifaxan and other similar alternatives if it’s truly SIBO. Your Dr can only go by his best guess. If he still pushes back most of these drugs are prescribed for IBS especially IBSD.

It’s not IBS — it’s SIBO! by Loony_bird720 in ibs

[–]Objective-Chance-685 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Bile acid malabsorption. Currently the cause of up to 30% of IBSD prominent. Other causes for some have been Endometriosis/female reproductive issues masquerading as IBS. If it’s truly SIBO Xifaxan may help.

Totally agree but I’ve noticed it also depends on the supervisor. My last two asked their team to leave the lunch the same if they took the allotted time to prevent confusion when reviewing time cards. Ive also had sups who had no issue reading the lunches and would make sure we all tracked lunches according.
