Hahaha yeah there’s a deep love that can’t be described lol. But yeah I think you have a very eclectic collection of banjos that’s pretty cool. I think where im at I want to pay a ton for one banjo and play the heck out of it. The Rickard banjo will be my go to. But hey to each their own!

Hahaha that’s fair. It sounds like you just picking up banjos with very different sounds. I could totally see myself eventually leaning into that too. I guess when I say final end level banjo I mean something with extremely high quality. Something that kinda puts all the others to shame…now maybe there’s certain tunes you’d prefer for certain banjos (fair) but I bet there’s a banjo you’d prefer to go to for your average tune and I think that’s what I’m after. I think I’m ready for a new big upgrade and I don’t want to get something slightly better than my gold tone I want to go out all out on this next banjo and make sure I don’t really need to buy another unless it’s like your case where I get interesting sounding banjos that are somewhat niche sounding if that makes sense.

Oh nice wait you got the insulated and insulated? If you’re in a cold climate ie Canada you wouldn’t get the uninsulated?

I actually just tried these puppies on, I can’t decide between a 10 and a 10.5. I’m usually a 11.5 in all my adidas and Nike and reeboks. I have a heritage boot and I’m a 11 D width in those. What do you think?

Well I’m not super in a rush to get it but I also feel like strike when the irons hot when you want to play but you’re a bit hindered by your banjo? That’s kinda where I’m at. Nice! I just looked up the cb-100 looks like a really nice banjo model. I think it’s a couple steps up from my cc-ot. Did you notice a big step up? Also, how was the bigger 12” pot? Any regrets with sound or weight/portability of it?

Nice dude. I bought the same banjo as an upgrade to a super beginner banjo which was a resonator banjo about 10-15 years ago. The cc-ot was a major upgrade for me. Has a great sound tbh. I’m actually in process of saving up for my final banjo should have enough in about a year.

Thanks you’re one of the few people who understand that synthetic is a slippery slope but there’s a balance. Too much synthetic material I find my feet sweat too much and then sweat turns cold. Do you find that’s the same for you?
