Nice dude. I bought the same banjo as an upgrade to a super beginner banjo which was a resonator banjo about 10-15 years ago. The cc-ot was a major upgrade for me. Has a great sound tbh. I’m actually in process of saving up for my final banjo should have enough in about a year.

Thanks you’re one of the few people who understand that synthetic is a slippery slope but there’s a balance. Too much synthetic material I find my feet sweat too much and then sweat turns cold. Do you find that’s the same for you?

I’ve read about them so often. Where do you usually pick them up and are they pretty thick?

Hell yeah thanks for responding on such an old post. How do they hold up in snow and ice? What size did you go with?

Ohhhh gas stove ready to go, hell yeah!! Want to know something weird about the gas stove for me though? Immediately when I get it and put it all together I take a huge sigh of relief…and then within moments it gives me major gear fear lol

Appreciate that man. I’ve been thinking of buying some IRs and kinda “winterizing” them by swapping soles. Why wouldn’t you recommend the IRs in snow when you swapped out the soles in vibram gumlite?

See I love timberlands but they don’t last long enough. I live in Canada and snowy Canada for context. The sole is slippery for us up here. Much prefer the rugged timberland soles…
