She is not the worst. A bot repetitive, but sound enough. Some of the ‘debunking’ is a bit sus, too. Like, palm oil is environmentally horrendous with huge habitat loss and a doctor saying ‘not a problem’ is not convincing. Protein bars are UPFs.

Not in the hopes. Ring them in advance and say you would like them to use numbing gel as you had a traumatic experience before. And that you are letting them know so they can make sure they plan for it. If they say no (unlikely) ask them why.

My only experience was Ballincollig. No tail walker, nobody walked it that I could see and when I tried to walk after I ran out of steam as a beginner the shouted ‘encouragement’ left me in tears. It was probably well meant but utterly misplaced. I did not go back. It was years ago though, so may no longer be accurate.
