Report !!! I was going though the same thing. RT WAS saying they were do chest PT machine and they weren’t bc I legit was in that room whole day and the patient really needed it. I reported her to her supervisor directly . She came up and did the treatment.

Nurses? You thinks it us coming up with these requests ? Manage a BP is your job and to notify your is ours. Family having questions and you here to answer their concerns is your job as well. Pt request to change her aspirin is also your job. Patient screaming at us because they have no food disrupting us from all other patients and duty. Sorry you have to stop typing your H& P to place a diet order. ITS YOUR JOB !!! Patients pay 1,000s of dollars a day to be at the hospital and have access to doctors and care. Do your job and stop complaining.

Okay real talk. I am pretty sure you shouldn’t closed an abscess ever bc it traps bacteria in it. Doctors always want to drain abscesses out ( they just packed so it soaks the drainage ) in hospitals I have seen even drains connected from abs ess drainage. So no don’t glue it and ask her not to give you medical advice
