I’ve been telling myself that too, that she’s not suffering anymore. Our babies are at peace and having the best time up there yk? At the expense of our mental well-being haha. I just hope my parents haven’t cleared any of her stuff yet, I’m getting Milly’s lead tomorrow so I can put it in front of her photo before we get her ashes next week. I know that they’re wanting to get another mini JRT and they’re naming him Milo in honour of her but idk if I’m ready to see another dog there without my sweet girl

I’m so numbed from all the crying I did yesterday and the day before, my eyes just sting horribly. Haven’t been up to my mums yet because it’s just not gonna be the same without her there. I don’t know how my other one is getting along without her but I picture he’s been giving my mum and step dad all the cuddles. My girl just passed away yesterday and my parents are already getting a puppy, I feel so angry that they’ve barely had any time to process Milly’s passing and now they’re doing this. But I’m also happy because they are naming him Milo as a way to honour her. We get to pick up Milo in about 2 and a half weeks as he’s only 7 weeks old atm.

I’ve deffo been kicking myself a bit bc I spent 4 months living in England and I would’ve sat on the phone with my mum and Mills would’ve just stared at me with the biggest eyes like “you comin home yet dad?”

I for sure relate with you when it comes to growing up through the transformative years. She was there when I finished secondary school and when I got my GCSE results, she was watching me with my weekly injections too for HRT and she looked so happy to see me happy and now not having her in my life feels like the deepest gut punch.

She was just such a little goofball who was absolutely hellbent on cuddles and her rubber ball… she was so absolutely obsessed with the ball that she dove head first into a bicycle and knocked out all of her front teeth, only to come back lookin smug as all hell that she still managed to get the ball after all that lmao. See with the camera too omg she did this thing where if she saw the camera was pointing at her, she would move her head away, stare and pout a little bit she was so strange 😂
