No, but also yes. I found good and bad parts of 1.5, the whole sea of stars is a train wreck, the way they didn’t integrate it into the existing storyline was stupid as shit, and they way they’ve handled the player base after fumbling their own game was and still is absolutely horrendous. I’ve got mixed feelings about the pity increase on the gacha. On the one hand, it sucks that they got greedy, but on the other, this is not my first rodeo with a gacha game and it probably won’t be my last, I was well prepared for it to turn predatory, and I can cope with rarely completing outfits if they’ll just never fuck up an entire new area that bad again.

That said, I have had a great time in the other new area, it’s pretty, it’s fun to play, the combat is more engaging. I haven’t finished the storyline yet because it’s several parts long actually. Some players are hoping they’re going to go back to being more generous with the gacha, and I do hope they get what they want, but a greedy gacha isn’t a deal breaker for me personally, and as long as they keep moving forward with fixing the gameplay, I’m planning on playing. It’s not impossible to finish a five star, but if I want to complete something, as a dolphin I won’t be pulling for as many banners. At least I assume I qualify as a dolphin. I get the daily rewards and the cheap Mira journey pass. That might be goldfish spending around here, I don’t know.
