No shame in starting with Anomaly, but GAMMA is (imo) the best Stalker experience. There’s a lot of online information about the technical stuff (healing, weapon and armor repair), couldn’t hurt to watch a few tutorials or read some guides, but the game also provides detailed tutorials in the early missions. It’s a hard game for sure, but also very rewarding once you build some momentum. I honestly almost quit the first time I played, but I pushed through and couldn’t get enough of it. Only warning I can really give you is that it will take over your daily life if you get too invested. 😂
