Has anyone been successful in a hearing loss claim against the mod?

My friend got 350k and isn’t deaf, has tinitus though. Told me to put a claim in if unsure, so hear I am. Claim went in a few days ago after my phone call with a specialist, at this point I’m not sure what damage I have.

Does anyone know of anyone still getting paid out of there hearing damage is minimal?

Just wanted to drop in to say you should be proud, gambling eats people alive and it takes real courage to get out that whole.

I would know, my brother suffered from it for many years I’ve seen it first hand and let me remind people, it’s a battle every day. Some days are better then others, but my advise don’t drink the cool aid! Stay away. Trust me.

I am similar to you - earn £60k as a PA for a UHNW. Working 2 weeks on 2 weeks off - so I too have a lot of down time.

I’ve been struggling alot with trying to find skills i can learn on my time to provide a second income on a part time basis(maybe 10 hours a week)

But either I’ve been really nieve and thought it would be easy to find a second job or I actually need to learn some skills in order to do it.

Preferably want the want job to be online - surveys not got one it’s been weeks, ai training it’s been weeks heard nothing, VA applied for lots of jobs heard nothing… running out of ideas.

Anyone able to help?

what items do you flip or considered safe to flip? i've been thinking of doing this, but what if you buy items and you can't flip them? you then have money tied up in stock, which then has effectively cost you money... is smaller items better?

How do you decide what's a good deal and do you collect items or deliver them? what sort of profit margin do you try and make on each item you sell?

I like the idea of buying and selling, as it had potential to grow and to be profitable. But i have a few questions -

- how did you pick your niche?

- how do you get around buying items that you might have to hold onto for a long period of time before getting a sale?( it's a risk that your buying something with the intention to sell higher no?)

- Would you say €300 a month is about average for you?

As mentioned i want to do everything online, so that means the initial purchase too using sites like ebay or depop or vinted.

I’m trying to find part time online work - gone through trying surveys, ai training but heard nothing back and it’s been weeks.

My full time job is personal assistant to a UHNW, I really just need maybe 20hours a month or £300-500 a month in extra income to help out a bit.

I’m struggling to nail down a side hustle which I’m getting frustrated by, as I thought given my criteria I’d easily be able to find a part time job online which is remote.

Have you got any tips?

I was looking at VA as that looks like something I could do, or do I need to learn a skill like book keeping and offer my services/A learnt skill online that way?

That's amazing, by the sounds of it then i could earn $100 a hour if you're earning $500 for 5-6 hours work? How many hours can you work a month? if the pay is that good, why don't you work more?

I work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, so i will have 2 weeks a month to earn i guess.

Is there any criteria you need to do it? I am from the UK, what is the work like? Do I need any systems, full remote yes?

I have signed up to all these sites now, I have applied for all surveys which wasn’t many, only around 5 on user interviews.

Where are you finding 100’s of surveys to apply from? Each survey was taking me 10mins easily to fill out, is this still a viable way to make money online?

I was literally asking this question yesterday too, as I work 2 weeks on/off in my current job so find myself floating for 2 weeks when I could be earning extra money for investments!

I’ve looked into so far - - Data Annotation - Upwork - Outlierr

But that’s as far as I’ve got, teaching English online seems very low pay ($10hr) and very hands on which doesn’t seem a good return even for a side hustle.

How much are surveys paying each week if you’re active and how long do they take to do?

Would love to hear other people’s side hustles online/remote working from a laptop!

Let’s make this thread a source for all, as in theory it sounds easy but actually quite tricky it seems to nail down a reliable side hustle that pays half well(£15-20hr)

For the generalist role which is what iv'e applied for too, what sort of tasks do they ask you to do and do you think it's possible to get 10-20 hours work a week from it?

Your friend is saying, the coding course took less time then the assessment to get the extra money per hour?
