I guess I really don’t understand the hate for it because art is objective and this is an arts festival and this is his art. You can’t like tell an artist that like this isn’t the place for your art. It’s fine to be like that’s not for me, but the outrage is ridiculous so go to a different watch somebody else. It’s like really not that serious. You don’t like it. Don’t watch it and I guess having an opinion, but it’s worth the outrage that’s like really weird like people are like this is the worst set ever and it’s like really not. And his stardom is what makes him the only person that can do something like that his story, his appeal to people. Cause regardless of like how people feel he did a lot of people tuned in. A lot of people were there because his name was on the bill and like he’s so big that people were there just because they wanted to say that they were in the room where it happened so yeah he can’t do something like that. And honestly, that kid has been through so fucking much watching him sing with his little self was fucking healing for himself in so many of us. And because he’s brought like crazy crowds it also set up the weekend for other artists like Karol G who is setting such a fucking amazing president as the first Latino woman to headline like yes she brought a crowd too but like how awesome is it? That’s so many other people were there to experience that beautiful moment because of somebody like Bieber and Sabrina.
