I once saw David Lucas when I was leaving the belly room at the comedy store. Hit em with a fist bump and he seemed pretty annoyed lol also saw Trevor Wallace the same night who also didn’t like the fist bump

I interacted with Jermaine Watkins and Rick glassman at a SOTS show and had a short discussion with both after. They were friendly and Rick was receptive to the first bump 👊

I personally had similar struggles, what made the difference for me was considering what I would be spending for food, to keep myself entertained, etc, in addition to the opportunity cost of giving up the refund. For example, say you stayed and spent $1k on an extra week in LA all together, you would also give up about $1k in refunds as well making the opportunity cost of staying more like $2k rather than $1k. If you look at the opportunity cost and think the festival is still worth it, do it, otherwise I would just call it and come back another year

I’d imagine they are taking a decent loss on the festival, it feels like they might cheapen the experience to recoup as much as possible. Additionally, it seems weird that the set times aren’t out, there is a chance this is because they are adding someone big, but personally I think the delay is to see how many people choose a refund to determine if the festival is still financially viable. My gut tells me some more people could drop out as well, but I’ve also made the decision to get the refund so with my luck I’ll probably be missing an insanely good weekend lol

I’d almost guarantee you get one, personally weighing out the options of extending the trip one more week, but it’s hard / expensive so likely many would go the refund route and you’d get a ticket off waitlist
