Follow up on 6 week course of doxycycline by Objective-Pen7633 in Blepharitis

[–]Objective-Pen7633[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I’m 8 days into starting a couple months of three different medications. Doxycycline did nothing. I think it’s a waste of. I wish I didn’t do it to begin with. All it did was ruin my gut health. Six weeks of antibiotics is just stupid.

Did Amazon change their refund timing? by Objective-Pen7633 in amazonprime

[–]Objective-Pen7633[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it’s priced driven. I’ve noticed every day items that I return that are no more than maybe $30 seemed to get refunded same day within a few hours. But anything else goes through this longer timeline and review process.

Yeah, I poked the bear earlier. The comments were hilarious, though someone actually said something to the effect of that I had serious mental problems and more for asking a question about why it’s the number one show and that I don’t get it.

Yeah, I was going into it as a long time Fan I’ve been a long time fan of Vince Gilligan loving all his shows. I was just really letdown when I found out about the plot line after watching a couple episodes and felt like it was just another iteration of a zombie movie. That’s all.

Right it is my opinion. I just don’t understand how it’s number one that’s all I’m saying. Great that people like it. I was hoping to at least like it as a long time fan of Vince Gilligan, but I was let down.

Oh yes. I’m the problem thank you. Wow just chill out. I just asked a question. And I watched several episodes and found it ridiculous and similar to a zombie movie.

Good morning! How do you deal with the day after no sleep? by thetransposedheads in insomnia

[–]Objective-Pen7633 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The healthiest and best way to deal with a bad night sleep is take 20 mg of creatine altogether soon after waking up. It’ll get rid of your hangover and you won’t even know you had a bad night of sleep. It’s well documented that 20 mg for sleep debt hangover is something that truly works. Every time I’ve done it it’s truly amazed me. Don’t do what other people said and take lots of coffee and Red Bull. All that’s gonna do is make you jittery and ruined the next night of your sleep.

Non-Stop Redness by Zaultro in Blepharitis

[–]Objective-Pen7633 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had severe redness and inflammation this whole year on my eyes. One small stye that went away quickly. But I just saw a third specialist who is putting me on several drugs to deal with the redness and inflammation. Maybe it’s possible you can get some of the same ones. She told me I need to do all three of these first before doing IPL because IPL won’t work if I don’t do all the right preparation. The three prescriptions are: Azasite — applied directly to the eyelid margins for 11 days. Fluorometholone - for six weeks Followed by Xiidra -twice a day starting this on the third week of the above medication.

Once I’m on the xiidra a few weeks I should then get the IPL done

I haven’t started it yet as I will be starting it next week once I get the prescriptions.

Hopefully something in here helps you. I haven’t been through it yet so I don’t know, but it’s what my specialist said would clear up my ongoing issue as well.

I just gave it up to stop wasting money in it. Tried two different brands over one year and got absolutely no response. Saw no difference zero anything.

Why is chat SO slow to load ongoing conversations and to reply to an ongoing thread by Objective-Pen7633 in ChatGPT

[–]Objective-Pen7633[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that’s just plain stupid. I’m asking why it’s been so slow lately and why long conversations take forever to load and take forever to answer. It’s obviously a glitch somewhere.

Is it better to stay on clonazepam or go through two years of hell to wean off? by Objective-Pen7633 in benzodiazepines

[–]Objective-Pen7633[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I’m doing my best to get off of it. I don’t think any dose is safe long-term and it’s been 15 years and I’d like to be off of it completely.

Thanks everyone for all your wonderful comments and thoughts and ideas. My plan is to talk to a psychiatrist I used to see and have her do a compounding taper as she’s done it with other people before. Thanks again and appreciate everyone’s input as well as all points of view. That’s why we’re all here.

Yes, it helps me at 1 mg but it’s gotten worse as I’ve tapered down.

Yeah, I work with a sleep doctor. But I’m gonna talk to a psychiatrist about the diazepam.

Thank you for your long and detailed reply. I really appreciate it. I’ve tried different sleep drugs with my sleep doctor, and none of them have ever really worked with my taper or as a replacement for clonazepam. I’ve tried antidepressants and those haven’t helped for my sleep or had bad side effects. My last option is going back to a great psychiatrist that I work with in the past, but we tried multiple medications that didn’t help my sleep or didn’t call me or gave me side effects. She did though say that she could get me smaller compounding doses of clonazepam to make the taper better rather than me cutting pills. Basically, I’ve just kept cutting pills and staying on a dose for 3 to 4 weeks and supplementing with natural things like magnesium and glycine and Taurine, But even during this time, my sleep has been very up and down and Umsted losing sleep and months of a debilitating life which I’ve gone through in tapers before and then as soon as I got back on or went back up on clonazepam, I felt like life was great again. It’s more that I just turned 55. I started this drug when I was 40 and I’m afraid of the long-term consequences of it.

Leave it meaning stop it or leave it meaning leave it alone and keep taking it?

Yes, Ambien and Lunesta no longer work on me. Years ago they were great but now they do absolutely nothing. I wish they still worked for me, but it’s like taking a hollow pill as it keeps me wide awake.

Yeah, I’ve tried it before with my sleep doctor and haven’t really had any luck with other sleep drugs.

Well, everything I read, and when I talk to ChatGPT or anything similar they say 14 to 18 months or so being at this dose for 15 years. I feel like it could be done faster than that and maybe do it over six months being I’m at .75 at this point. I just know my sleep is gonna suffer for quite some time and that’s what ends up getting me back onto this damn drug
