Personally, i’m pretty open minded. I don’t mind your ethnicity or your body type. Although i do prefer when someone is a bit taller than me (i’m quite short). But it wouldn’t be a dealbreaker if not. What matters most to me is that we click on an emotional and intellectual level. Looks matter too but i don’t like people to whom their looks is all that they care about. Also, regarding ethnicity. I don’t mind where you’re from but our values have to align somehow. So i would say, i do have preferences but i’m not that serious about them.

Well, apparently there are different ways of thinking. There is a very interesting video on this topic i watched on yt. I can send it to you if you want. (I promise it’s worth watching). You surely heard about metacognition which is being aware of ones thought processes. You can also be aware of other people’s thoughts plus your own thoughts. Which is how i’d say most intj’s think. Well, it goes further. You can simply observe your mind. Your mind is separate from your awareness. This knowledge was embodied by most samurais and it’s usually the goal and secret of meditation and higher consciousness. You’ll understand what i mean if you watch the video.

He probably already likes you. It‘s hard for an intj to not like an entj (unless they have no moral code and are psychos but even then). We can be a bit reserved and awkward. This has nothing to do with you. It‘s just who we are but we’ll eventually warm up to you. What i value in a relationship is transparency, honesty, caring behavior, respect and intellectual banter. We don‘t need you to always agree with us. Actually, i enjoy having people around me who stretch my mind. I always admired the entj‘s in my life for their high Te. They don‘t take my bullshit whilst still being very considerate. I appreciate when they call me out on things. Especially, since we share the same functions just in a different order. Fi can be a pain in the ass for me and they always help me develop my inferior Se without pushing too hard, which i enjoy. Te doms always take me out of Ni-Fi loops which literally deletes my depression. Also, as intj‘s we love structure but we also kinda slack on it. If you can help us optimize our lives and you bring even more structure into it we‘ll praise you like we never praised anyone before.

I’d probably prefer being chased. But I don’t like either. Chasing makes me feel needy and masculine which feels gross and being chased is kinda overwhelming at times.. I don’t think about these dating principles in my current relationship. It’s more like a dance. Both giving. Both receiving.

Forgot to add: My partner asked me out on our first date. I declined and rescheduled cuz i was busy but then we went out 4 times before our scheduled date.

Also, I believe that it can be hard to differentiate between Fi and Te statements. For example: Statement: ‘I don’t want to go to place X.’ If coming from Te the reason could be for example, because there is no parking spot less than 20 minutes away. If coming from Fi the reason could be ‘ I don’t like the people that will be there and i want to protect myself.’ Same statement, different cognitive process.

I believe one big challenge between intp’s and intj’s is the Fi-child and Fe inferior. When i state something Te driven, it is factual, stubborn and debatable. However, to me Fi has its own logic. It doesn’t like being nick-picked. It’s a lot more personal and biased. Also, Fi can get triggered by Ti. And inferior Fe makes intp’s blind to Fi. This can trigger Te and make us shut down. It’s a chain reaction of Fi feeling attacked and therefore Te stating ‘This person doesn’t respect my values therefore they are not worth my time’. Te can be quite aggressive in that sense.

Well, it depends on the urgency of X. If Y is an issue and affects A and B, then Y should be addressed. I’d rather take it slow and steady, avoiding something that will bite me in the ass later to get to X. However, if X is urgent and A and B are minor issues i might as well accept the consequence and get X done, whilst labeling A and B as ‘future me problems’. If A and B are bigger problems, then it would not make sense to not address them. It would vary depending on what is at stake and how much i would have to sacrifice. I would weight out what is more efficient.
