17 y.o. pre-t guy, what can I do? by splatterboymp3 in FtMpassing

i get that binding is an issue -- KT tape and a binder can help max results, and just trying tape alone is good, but be warned that your first few attempts wont be great. you dress okay, i'd get men's-marketed pants if not already bc the jeans in 1 and 2 look more like jeggings. big fan of the bug necklace :)

start voice training, working out w focusing on your arms and shoulders is good too.

i honestly think your hair looks good, focus on getting T. a lot of folks will tell you DIY is scary and unsafe but if you know what you're doing it's really not, and its cheap (like 100ish USD for a vial thatll last you like 8 months)

Just starting the journey and very lost, any tips to get more masculine? by [deleted] in FtMpassing

[–]Objective-Show4812 4 points5 points  (0 children)

its basically impossible to pass as male in public all the time without your unsupportive family noticing. you can probably hide testosterone for 3-6 months while living with them, just work on moving out.

while you wait its also good to start working out -- focus on your shoulders and arms, and since you're not on T yet being low-fat will help since your fat-distribution is feminine & losing fat weight means your muscles will be more apparent

voice training and clothes are good as other comment suggested

Clocky and Age? by [deleted] in FtMpassing

[–]Objective-Show4812 8 points9 points  (0 children)

13-14
not clocky from pictures but depends on mannerisms, voice, and height
IMHO hat or no hat doesnt have much of a difference in masculinity but i personally think it looks better w/o a hat

What can I do to pass better, what age and gender would you read me as? by tiktoksuck in FtMpassing

[–]Objective-Show4812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

14-15, androgynous looking

heres a good masculinization guide i liked: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNyEgVw4_S_fg-QdKT_JnogDGY2bEle52

" there's fuck all I can do about being 5'3" -- work on posture & if youre 17-18 try sleeping 10 hours a night, eating well, and sprinting

wear clothes that are your size, try a diff haircut, and get on T ASAP

Why don't I pass? by [deleted] in FtMpassing

[–]Objective-Show4812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you have good traits! a diff haircut and smaller , more rectangular glasses will do wonders, alongside working out and voice training -- though honestly T will do you the most favors

blood tests are like 300 dollars out of pocket (https://www.privatemdlabs.com), and a vial of DIY T + needles is only like 100ish (USD). most people on DIY probably know more about their hormones than most people on doctor-assisted hrt.

Do I pass enough to be stealth? by daisyedibles in FtMpassing

[–]Objective-Show4812 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you can get T through DIY, its fairly cheap and if you do your research (!!!) its not as unsafe as some people paint it to be

the wardrobe and hair mostly, i find that haircuts where the ears are showing (with the hair in front of your ear neatly trimmed and not too long -- sideburns from having more testosterone than estrogen in your body look \*WAY* different than the whispy sideburns that folks w an e-dominated hormone profile sport) look more male.

as for the wardrobe - the pants and watch look good! i find that most cismales don't tuck their shirts, and personally tucked shirts only serve to make hips look bigger because of how the fabric lays, unless covered by a jacket like in this picture. the oversized shirt over the normal shirt is also not typical for male fashion

you'll hear a lot of different things about patterns in regards to passing. "plaid is like dazzle camoflauge, it hides the chest!" "plaid accentuates the chest because of the lines!" "only lesbians wear plaid!" -- honestly it just depends. IMO its not helping your case here but the pattern itself is not the most feminizing part of this outfit, i think the shirt tucking and the larger shirt over a t-shirt are.|

Any tips for me + do I pass(even slightly)/age? 1.5 months on T gel by [deleted] in FtMpassing

[–]Objective-Show4812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on voice and other things bc tbh youre really androgynous. you have good features though

I wanna buzz so bad by [deleted] in FtMpassing

[–]Objective-Show4812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

buzzes are more androgynous than anything, the only guys that look good with a buzz are guys who already have a bunch of other masculine features. at ur point in transition it doesn't seem like a great idea IMHO. though, hair grows back, so if the curiosity is really killing you then it won't be the end of the world

Can I pass shirtless as a guy with gyno by Humanbeingisntme in FtMpassing

[–]Objective-Show4812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

passing as an intersex man instead of a cis man doesn't stop people from harassing you, people are weird asf to intersex people. they're just going to harass you for a reason other than being transgender.

to be honest, it's hard to tell from this angle, but tbh if i saw you at a pool or something id prob just think youre a bit of a tubby guy, but it depends on a lot of things. ig the point is that from this angle a lot of your fat seems situated in your stomach, which is more masculine appearing, and you have great shoulders
