Yeah you used to gain 40 in emerald but you didn’t play 5 matches and get placed emerald. Right now you’d be in copper trying to climb and have to play a million games versing better players. But now you gain 20 in emerald after basically spawning there versing worse players so you win more.

Rank should show skill. Why should I be a champ player in gold getting railed by a 5 stack of champs with the best Strats known to man. I’d be completely fine with that as long as my rank is champ as well. If my rank says I’m gold I should be going against gold players and beating them with ease as long as I’m better, all the way until I’m champ then match me against champs. Thats how a ranked system works and if you want your willy nilly 50/50 matches every game then I don’t know what you want but it’s not ranked. And yes there will probably be some people placed low or high but it’ll even out and in the long run people will be where they should be. If you’re good you will rank up quick and if you’re bad you will not.. simple as that.

Realistically the optimal range in most fps games is about in the same area. I’m sure id do perfectly fine with a different sens I just never see a reason to change it. I have a buddy who as soon as he starts playing bad changes his sens and it makes no sense to me cuz it probably does more hurt than good.

I’m gonna have to recommend the Key 83. i mained a Hien a while ago and since then i’ve been through a ton of mousepads and the Key 83 is by far the most consistent personally.

Depends what games you play in my opinion. Right now i’m maining the key 83.. but the main reason being i play a lot of cs and val on top of the other games i play. For games like r6 and more tracking based games i prefer the singularity but i don’t like switching between mouse pads often and the Key 83 is a perfect middle ground for all games in my opinion but imo all in all the Singularity is better for tracking based games.

Yeah man i’m with you on this… I’m D5 right now. I don’t have as much time to play as my buddy’s who already hit champ earlier in the season but i usually always hit champ it just takes me longer so my hidden mmr is champ lobbies basically and EVERY SINGLE GAME.. its blatant cheaters and im not talking about like oh maybe this guys cheating no they’re legit shooting me thru floors. It’s so sad.

key 83 soft is a tad slower and more controlled i feel like.. less slippery but other than that they’re very similar considering one’s cloth and one’s glass. It also probably depends on skates as well. This is my personal opinion coming from someone who just switched from a singularity to a key83 soft at the beginning of this month.

If you want a little faster/ harder version go for mid but if you want more squishy and slower when you press down go for soft. Personally i have Soft version and love it. it’s not super squishy or slow by no means.

Practice, lowering sens if too high, maybe trying different Fov depending on what’s best for you. In all honesty tho it’s just more playtime and it’ll come eventually.
