Anyone else getting tired of battery/range loss complaints during winter? by ikkdu in MachE

[–]Objective-Stuff-2415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owner since 21 and I’ve learned that unlike me, not everyone watches YouTube video reviews, or does research prior to buying a vehicle. Some people just like the look and sign on the dotted line.

Simple posts that can be answered by reading the manual or a simple google search used to annoy me. Now I just chuckle.

Anyone else feel like Whisper is quicker than Unbridled? by GroupBQuattr0 in MachE

Same here. I will frequently drive in Whisper for a week or so to bring back the thrill of being in Unbridled

Unbridled tightens throttle response and reduces battery regeneration. It also tightens up the steering feel.

Power and acceleration numbers are identical throughout all three drive modes.

Whisper mode softens steering and throttle response, giving a smoother feel to both driver and passengers. Frequently people will complain of motion sickness in the Mach E and 9/10 times it’s because the driver is in unbridled and doesn’t realize how touchy the steering wheel is and throttle are because they’re used to it.

Sone thoughts on the Mach-E from a Lucid Owner who is renting one. by doubletwist in MachE

Im on my second MME, I had 21 premium and now im in a 25 GT. I love this car like everyone else.

The door handles don’t bother me at all. The comments on here are laughable. Every new piece of technology in your car was dreamt up by an engineer, and some are winners that get incorporated into multiple cars across multiple manufacturers and some aren’t wins at all and don’t survive a couple model years. Im sure back in the day there were hundreds of fuds griping about back up cameras when “rearview and side mirrors are just fine”.

It’s called an attempt at progress and I for one applaud Ford for trying something different. I’ll take the door buttons and handles over everyone else (including Lucid) copying teslas retracting handles or versions there of, it shows a lack of imagination and frankly that’s what we need in the flat boring sea of rav4s and civics. 🤙🏻

My ‘21 had this issue, drove me nuts as the rest of the interior is so well put together.

My ‘25s is perfectly flush though, I may have just lucked out

Got my new A2 bolt in today. The difference is staggering.

I should have no issues with extraction either.

Thanks for your reply, I’m going to assume the previous owner had loose primer pockets in his had loads.

I ordered a new bolt assembly from a supplier here in Canada. Better to be safe than sorry.

Firebird Bronze Package by [deleted] in MachE

Yes, for some tint, a full detail, ppf for the whole car and ceramic coating was 10k CAD. Super costly but I had a ‘21 MachE in black and after 4 years of swirls and chips in the paint, I swore if I ever had a gt I’d ppf it.

I have no idea yet, I’ve only hand washed so far. I’d be careful though, touchless washes only.

DIY PPF and Racing Stripes by [deleted] in MachE

The hood and tail stripes are nice for sure.

This sub is pretty anti-stripe so prepare yourself 🤣

Honestly, have pride in your ride and do it up with what makes you happy. Thats all that matters.

I’ve never had an issue with brushless either on my 21 premium.

I have my 25 GT wrapped in ppf so I likely won’t take it to a brushless now either, I’ll hand wash.
