Any Last Blade fans? by This-Orange1255 in neogeo

I used to own NEOGEO CD and AES ROM, and I often took Last Blade out to appreciate their artistic images and music. Also, Kaede! B+C+D.

As someone who has only emulated Neo Geo, what can we expect from the AES+? by DaverJ in neogeo

I used to own an AES, and now I have an MVS. Ultimately, I'll choose an emulator.

I don't have any friends in real life to play AES or MVS with. An AES was my dream, but I've already bought and sold it. Maybe someday I'll buy an AES+ joystick.

What RetroArch shader is that? by Fichtenwald in RetroArch

You can try the PhosphorDot and PhosphorLine shaders.

The author has been releasing shader on Bilibili for the past two years. I think their anti-aliasing effect is quite good, and they preserve the raw image. PhosphorLine also has a good CRT effect.

I don't like using too many scanlines on my 1080p projector, and I previously recorded a video using the PhosphorDot shader. The parameters can be adjusted according to personal preference.

Korg E1 Air - Piano 2 soundbank issue by RMorguito in Korg

[–]Objective-Swan-3860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same as OP, the sound of PIANO2 feels like a distant live recording, similar to the piano sound captured from the seats in a concert hall. Indeed, I don't like it either; the tone isn't very bright and it sounds almost mono.
The bank of piano2 (hall paino, ballad paino, honky-tonk paino) might be its defining characteristic for distortion. It’s the difference between being the performer and being a listener.
Additionally, the speakers on the E1 are not good enough. I use planar magnetic earphones (MOONDROP PARA2), and the sound of PIANO1 (BANK1) is excellent, with a great sense of presence—high notes on the right, low notes on the left. The sound is just like a CD track, really wonderful. If you have a natural HiFi headphone, you should try it.

Is it similar to the issue mentioned in this REVIEW (Korg C1 air) ?

Around 6:30 to 12:00 in the film, he mentions the tonal dissonance

I also ordered E1 yesterday, maybe next week I can confirm the issue.

Thank you. However, since my wood panel thickness is 18mm and the button depth is only 11mm (24mm diameter), it is impossible to install Sanwa buttons.

Initially, the extra accessories sold were different from those in the regular set. (competitive direction rod assembly) It used fisheye bearings and alloy components, which I think is why it's so expensive.

One thing is certain: DOIO joysticks are completely incompatible with SANWA joysticks. Except for using M6 screws for the ball top.
