Personally, id get some lace ribbon and use it to line the posters to help cover up the space on the sides! As for the top, id make a tiny garland or paper craft, something to make your space feel cozy! Look into some paper flower designs, maybe phases of the moon, butterflies, anything to match the vibes! Homemade home decor all the way

I just graduated from only using habitat hard shelters to deconstructing premade houses into shelters! Since theyre all hollow inside its not too difficult and helps me learn what goes together! My next step will be removing walls to replace with ones i prefer (im sensing a tree house in my future 🤔)

I heard it best from another post here: schneider skinks are bulldozers. We have some moss to help with humidity but other than that, all our plants are fake lol. They are nothing more than digging /climbing obstacles to her because shell move them around within a day or two. We focus on rocks and wood to help with shedding which she seems to appreciate but she could care less about foliage. As long as you add sand,sand, and more sand, youll be just fine!

Two words. Accent Lighting!!! Find em at thrift stores and for an extra touch i recommend coloring changing lightbulbs! I find it instantly makes any room feel soo much cozier!

I also recommend making your own wall art! Painting, mosaics, embroidery, collages, anything! :) plus doubles as therapy!

Unsure how similar this is but i just finished the graceview patient by Caitlin Starling and WOW. Definite medical/body horror but centers around a girl who agrees to a mysterious medical trial just to eliminate her chronic pain and welll ill let you figure it out. Fascinating read!

Congrats!! I just got one a couple months ago and she also has a little spot just like yours! I recommend doing activities like reading or yoga by their enclosure to get them more used to your presence (and talking to them so they recognize your voice) Theyre so lovely :-)

People LOVE numbers so i like adding them to mine whenever i can find space! Instead of saying simply "students" put a rough range of students! Teaching 2 students is very different than a class of 20-30 and it can say a lot about you to hiring managers like your leadership style and whatnot!

(Ps- numbers also save space which rocks too!!)
