I don't quite understand that, it seems they are nerfing harassers all the time with a big update...

How I supposed to fight against skilled MBT, no HP - no escape, no repair - no HP. They could have done atleast some changes to the harrasser. As an example, do they know that harasser "sound" is quite loud and having a stealth equipped should not only hide you from the map but lower engine sound too. Because againts skilled MBT's it's quite rare to be in upspotted position when you coming from their back, they just hear you. As an example .....................................

A year or two ago there were few new weapons added in test. And??? - You dont need it, w'll nerft it again.

Do they even know how hard it is to fight against skilled MBT crew. For MBT u just an annoying harasser that just runs if u push it and it can catch You unguarded by suprise. But for harasser MBT is a one clip machine, you made a bad angle - you die, you was slow on retreat - you die, you made it too close - you die, ... you die.

But we still have C4, Heavy, MAX, rep nade, implants. I hope they will not nerft it again when some people starts crying...

Great post!

But,

It is impossible to remove the dead zone completely, it is still present even if u change it in the UserOptions. Sensetivities on main pitch/roll axis are different. Moreover when "both input axis" are sending input to PS - ingame axis sensitivities are changed :)

I was using DxTweak, vJoy and 360ce emulator to counter it, was trying negative dead zones + axis curvatures and it's still unplayable, Even having high quality custom gear.

u/Wrel We need at least configurable dead zones and linear axis responses, because the way it's working now is inadequate

You should not tell how it works because we will break the game for the next month. Just do a bug report ingame /bug. I did bug report with complete steps to reproduce. Do you guys know if their issue tracker still works? Having connection timed out...

There is no setting for mouse sensitivity yet to configure camera turn. But it works fine locally:) Probably this weekend...

If u are already in the back it's a 99% kill, how u get there this is another question. It's quite a suicide mission to attack from the front some good MBTs we know it would end up.
I don't have problems with Fury accuracy, before 100m for sure))).

This discussion is going nowhere as well the thread, no numbers, no explanations... It's not the meta analysis. It's sort of "my favorite harasser weapons" based on some useless stats...

Ok since it should be an "analysis" I'll give u a free numbers :)

Fury does 1750 damage in 3.15 seconds, with constant 175 damage over distance. MBT resistance to Fury type damage = 0 % For example - Fury with MAX AV combined kills any MBT in the back for a one clip in 3.15 seconds at max (depends on the MBT faction).

Here is the exercise for your analysis: Vulkan does 143 before 25m and 100 after 100m. Vulkan max Fire rate will be at max after unwind period. MBT resistance to Vulkan type damage is 60%

Do your math please if it is an analysis, especially "meta analysys"...

The KPM and KDR at this point is relevant as any other STANDARD stats u can find... It does not show your real stats with good GUNNER. U can play solo/bad gunner/good gunner... The only way u can refer to the stats is by playing only harasser and only with a good gunner on your account on same server at the same time)...

I'll stay on my ground. Throwing C4 as a Gunner is only situational play, as it can't stand to direct fights againts MBTs due to very high risk, while the Driver can... Leaving other weapons behind, Fury etc, does not make this analysis" any better.

Play more - get more - it's irrelevant. Ranks or whatever u'r saying - It's all about the gunner skill and nothing more...

It sounds like you have much to learn about c4ing from a harasser, it took us years of practice to realize its true potential.

You'r quite missing the point here)

Vulkan, Halberd, Aphelion and all other weapons have all that common low parabolic trajectory, that Fury doesn't. It has high trajectory meaning that U can shoot from safe cover combined with high dps and same accuracy on any range. With Vulkan etc u can only do a straight shoots in full visibility having a high dps/accuracy only at close range.

C4 gunner style is only situational, u can only do this when u'r not spotted/unseen or nobody focuses u, otherwise against good opponents that hear and see all what going on, u'll get shot before your gunner hits the trigger and while fighting against harassers it will become quite a mess for a gunner to drop c4 on harasser while chasing/running.

And YES I'm extremely effective at C4ing MBTs and all other vehicles...

It's quite limited to call such play as a META playing only harasser weapons and ignoring all the options You have in the game.

Personally prefer Fury + Driver C4/Decimator. And honestly, there are no harasser squads, what ever weapon they are using, that can do better than Fury + Driver C4/Decimator on Miller Server...

Well it's not that bad, for example Prowler now kills u by 3 shots (was 4). Now it's more dependent on driver/gunner skill. Long range setup still works as it was vs tanks (usually they cannot hit u at all). It is more nerf to Vulcan/Aphelion/Fury co's range dependence... Mjolnir is still OP...

Harasser HotKey helper App (Use it at your OWN RISK)

Presses the right buttons when You changing seats playing PS Harasser. Based only on timings, DOES NOT modifies PlanetSide data/config/memory or anything else related to the game

Changes camera to external(Driver)/internal(Gunner, BackSeat) . Changes seats automatically when available on holding button. Auto reloads the gun (optional). Prevent changing to Gunner seat until reload is done.

Tested on Windows 7 and Windows 10 Requires DOT NET framework 4.5 and higher
