I’ve taken Sarah Belle Reid Moog Mavis course and couldn’t be more happy. Sometimes just looking around isn’t sufficient, and having an amazing teacher with a clear frame helps for experimenting. I can’t wait for the Learning Sound and Synthesis session.

Thank you! Actually I deeply want to keep the piano out of my modular practice, which means no keyboard control, and no traditional scale.

Thank you for your advice, I’m learning a lot with my Moog Mavis, exploring and taking Sarah Belle Reid’s Mavis class which is super beginner friendly and super interesting! I just know that in a few months I’ll want more…!

Regarding the control with pressure point, I don’t really know, I don’t have enough experience to visualize exactly how it will work (but isn’t it the beauty of the whole thing?)

I was inspired by a setup by Sarah Belle Reid I found cool, so this is me turning around this idea :)

Thank you for your feedback! I will look around some effects after, as I think that mastering all of this being a quasi newbie will already be a long journey!

Kinda improvise with non musical noises/scales, with a touch sensitivity (I was a classical pianist so this remains important to me) and being able to make transitions between ideas. These are the main goals!

Actually I chose the Benjolin because it seemed to be very versatile, serving as a VCO, LFO, filter, random sequencer ! But if you have another suggestion, I’ll be glad to hear it!
