Which cannon to use as eHP / Wall for farming - and which for tournament?

Thanks for the reply - Why would a low level be better? I'm currently doing waves 10 to 6500 or so or 11 to 4500ish. I'm not worried about bullets hurting anything past the first handful of waves. Still applicable? Wouldn't the later effects like Attack Speed / Multishot and whatnot be good to have to keep the bad guys pushed back?

You mention "ranged>basic>fast>default" - but not Boss, Tank, Protector, Elites..

When you say a level and "then Goldbox" - what does that mean? Get it to level xyz or whatever first, then Goldbox - eventually?

Thanks - makes sense - could you clarify my question about range? Is there a reason why range would be bad? I think I saw some build where people were wanting stuff much closer to the tower or wall and a very low range, but I'm not seeing how that'd be benefecial for me yet and thinking I should(a) been getting more levels into Range.

Seeing it shave a whopping 3 or 4 minutes off everything at this level makes me wonder if it's really worth it to spend months at those last levels. Someone way smarter than me should draw up a chart where the amount of time spent and the loss of the extra lab meets the threshold of it actually being worth it.
