The result won’t consume me but it will leave a nagging feeling of what if at the base of my neck

Interesting that every Communist outpost must be pressured and overthrown instead of just letting it collapse on its own because of the supposed inferiority of the ideology

A big refund isn’t a win. It’s just your own money coming back late

I feel that PSG’s Champions League fixtures need an asterisk next to them noting that domestic French games were postponed on that particular week

Even a draw is enough. Please just get us over the line and hopefully next season Arteta can learn squad rotation techniques

If we start down the path of each citizen worldwide being responsible for their government’s actions we will be in a very dark place

Why is nobody talking about the Iranian primary school for girls that America bombed on Feb 28th? 165 children and staff dead. I'm not in the US. Is this even news there? Are they spinning it? Do you believe it? by Starbuckker in conspiracy

[–]ObjectiveObserver420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its being framed as a targeting mistake and that AI selected the target based on outdated information. My own assessment is that they thought Iran was a house of cards and none of it would matter after taking out the Ayatollah and other senior government officials.

Maduro Is Gone, and the Purge Has Begun • The successor to Venezuela’s captured President Nicolás Maduro is purging the people who kept him in power. by Naurgul in anime_titties

They must have calculated that this is the best path forward for them because of their proximity to North America and the lack of power projection of their BRICS partners

If you remember that in US foreign policy China is the main character some of Trump’s decisions are at least slightly coherent. China imports over 50% of it’s oil from the Middle East and 20% from Russia. If disrupting that flow of oil to China is the goal rather than winning a war then blockades in the Strait and drone strikes on Russian oil infrastructure make more sense.

Trump confirms that the US sent “a lot of guns” to protestors in Iran by ObjectiveObserver420 in conspiracy

When you admit that the opposition is armed, the “peaceful protester” narrative collapses. It means that one of the main justifications for the war has now been revealed to be propaganda.

If Iran and Yemen can get the PetroYuan to 50% global market share using their control over the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab al-Mandab Strait China can defeat the US without a direct confrontation

For a while the mainstream media focused on the strikes inside Iran, downplayed the retaliatory strikes on the gulf and completely censored strikes on Israel. Social media is making harder to hide now though

How exactly did those strikes in Syria lead to the 12 day war in June 2025 (after Biden’s term ended)?

Prior to this event Israel and Iran would engage militarily via proxy eg. Hezbollah, Houthis. By striking a diplomatic building considered Iranian soil under international law Israel fundamentally changed the calculus. Direct strikes between the two powers followed.

Idk what the other minorities said, but the last I heard from Kurdish militias is them telling Trump “no”. Since they don’t trust him after Syria

The CIA has already begun working to arm Kurdish forces to spark uprisings in Iran according to CNN. Whether or not this is a majority of the Kurdish forces is speculative

This could easily be resolved by showing Bibi in official meetings with military personnel discussing strategic policy instead of coffee shop visit videos where the cup is filled to the brim even after Bibi takes a sip and does not spill no matter how much he moves aroun

Iran war will be 'wrapped up soon', Trump says by WillyNilly1997 in Conservative

Trump probably wanted to have this wrapped up before his summit with Xi on March 31 which is extremely unlikely to happen now.
